A family in Tennessee
Etta U. Rhodes Anderson
hello Christine... I found Elmer Rhodes obituary from 1948 and discovered that he had a son,Norbert Rhodes and a foster daughter,Mrs.Donald Anderson, which would be Etta.... I found an Etta U.Rhodes Anderson listed on ancestry.com... can you tell me if the "U" stands for Ursula? I am asking because I am trying to find my sister's biological family... her grandmother is Ursula Rhodes who lived in Maryland and worked for the military in Germany in the 1970's... my sister's birth name was Christa.thanks

I was adding all of Hope Abbey, the mausoleum at Hope Cemetery, and came across this person. Lillian Conger Courntney 118197303. Thought you may be interested, since you submitted a photo request for U. Conger.

Willing to transfer it if you believe she's related.

Christine,

I am getting the same error. Strange, as they looked just fine yesterday.

I will send the photos of Joseph and Lorraine to your email, and you can post them if you wish.

Thank you for your nice letter. I am glad I was able to be helpful. St. John the Baptist Cemetery is a very beautiful place and always enjoyable to visit as a volunteer.

Happy holidays to you!

Frank and Agnes
Good day,

I was able to complete your photo request for Frank and Agnes (Brzys) Gryncewicz at Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester, MA. I have not found the other Gryncewicz buried there yet.

You may complete a memorial for the infant daughter Mary who is buried with Frank and Agnes, if you like; if not, I can.

Uzziah
We did not find Uzziah Conger listed in the Hope Cemetery book at Galesburg Library.
McFall Monuments owns Hope Cemetery and has the records for this cemetery.
Call (309)342-6512,the owner is a nice helpful person and can tell you if Uzziah is buried there and who is buried next to him,if he's there.

Found Mr. Vos's stone last night. have gotten a picture for you.

For your records, the stone is located in the Se section of the cemetery with a family stone. I will attempt to get a copy of the family stone as well, when the weather is better.

I hope that helps, and I wish the best of luck to you!

St. John the Baptist Cemetery
One week ago today I journeyed to Dayton, Minnesota to honor your request on Findagrave. I took many pictures and included anyone with the surname Bouley. (Thinking they may be of interest to you.)

I am disappointed that you haven't taken a moment to say "thank you", but am not surprised. It is pretty common for others to request volunteer help and then express no gratitude.

The words "please & thank you" mean alot to volunteers. Perhaps in the future you can take a brief moment and express them as it is music to others ears!

Hi there,
I got a request for some pics in MN....
Well, it is winter here... there is snow and more on the way in the next couple days.... if the headstone is a flat one, no way to locate it.
Can this wait till spring?
thanks, Sally
