RE: Looking for Family
I found a 5 year old boy Jack Nettles living with a Laura Griffis on one of the census and she had been married to a William Danial Griffis and the young boy is listed as a nephew. I am trying to find out if he is my granddad. But also on my grandmothers death cert. her mother was listed as a Mary Jane Griffis married to an Joseph Oscar Evans.

Charles Griffis
Does Charles Griffis have any kind of head stone?

I will be going near by that area and I was hoping that there might be something to take a picture of. He is one of my ancestors.

RE: Oliver Bennett Braddy & Sarah Braddy
It seems I've responded to you about this before, but can't be sure. Sarah Ann Braddy was born to Sarah Ann Mosley McCullough--her husband, Joseph McCullough had died in the WBTS in 1862. Oliver Bennett Braddy's first wife, Elizabeth Smith Braddy, had also died about that same time. He fathered Sarah Ann. My husband is a great-great-grandson of O.B. Braddy and the family knows the story. Apparently, the mother died in the 1870s. Sarah Ann went to live with her father and his second wife, Martha Dickerson Turner Braddy.

A very huge thank you for the grave marker photos of Trinity and Wiley Carter. These photos were critical in the finalization of a DAR application and because of volunteer's such as yourself so many are most thankful for your time and efforts.
