I took a long look at the pictures of the headstone and it appears to me that the V in top right corner might just be a fault in the stone. One of the pictures showed part of the top of the stone and it seemed to be consistent with the side marking. Just an opinion.

RE: Pheriba Fairly MULLIS - Sutton @ 132735132
Hi Charlene!

Wow, thanks for the quick response. Yes, I kept looking at it, and it looked like a letter! But, you may just be right, that something decided to attach itself and grew there, may have been lonely...LOL.

I do the all the family research, mine and my 2nd wife Patti's side of the MOORE family, going back all the way to the MULLIS's, HASTY's, CAUDLE's, ALLEN's, GRIFFIN's, AUSTIN's and other's and all from North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama, except Patti's father was somewhat more spirited and came West, and everyone else stayed pretty much in the South.

Charlene, I will wait for your finding's on the Headstone, whatever it may be, but don't hurry..., we're both retired people, so patience is a virtue...LOL, at least with me and as for the transfer of 'Pheriba' (interesting name) Memorial, I'd be honored to receive it and I'll build it up as I find information on her.

Thanks again Charlene..., and GOD Bless!

Hi Charlene!

I am just curious to know, and probably get asked a lot about this, but on Pheriba's headstone, in the upper right-hand corner, there seems appears to be a letter (looks like) 'V' or 'Y'. Do you know what it might say ??

Thank you so much, I appreciate this.

Also, (and I don't say this often enough), not only for me as a family researcher, but for the other researcher's as well, and that is, how we ALL appreciate your efforts in FindAGrave, cause without your unselfish dedication, in any weather, to create these handsome Memorial's, you see, I feel that family genealogy researcher's and investigators would be at a loss, without YOU!

Thank you Charlene, and all you Guy's and Gal's out there in FindAGrave, please, keep up the great work!

RE: Hey cousin!!
I KNEW that name sounded familiar for a reason!

HELLO! Thanks for the reply. I have only recently found this site and I have been so excited! I have found out more about daddy's side of my family than I have EVER know. We were mostly around mother's side growing up.

Anyway - Thanks again and do call mother. She might enjoy a voice from the past.

take care - Ruby Ellen

Not related. When I work on different lines, I stroll thru cemeteries to see where the trails take me. I enjoy exploring and linking loved ones together. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Elizabeth Becky Lee
I find some controversy with Elizabeth Becky Lee(1801-Bethel Primitive Church, Echols Co GA-1880-Clinch Co Ga)being married to Henry"Light Horse" Harry Lee..supposed to have married him 18 Jan 1793, she would have been his 3rd wife..they had a son, James Jackson"Little Harry" Lee(1818-1894 GA) married Jermima Joyce Lee(1819-1890)..they had a son Daniel Dan "Club Foot" Lee of whom I am interested..Dan Lee is buried in the Lee Cemetery, Charlton Co GA..there seems to be an child fathered by Henry Light Horse Lee by his wifes sister..maybe this is the confusion..can you help me??

Saundra Dowling
I just wanted to let you know that our middle son James Henry "Tank" Dowling (1977 - 2014)* passed away suddenly on Dec 23, 2014. I have added him to find a grave with a heavy broken heart as I never in all my worst dreams would have thought I would be adding my own son. Please remember us in prayers as we as a family have been hit hard by his loss. I would love to see 39 guitar/yellow flowers/tokens for James by his birthday on November 15th.

God Bless, Saundra

Sorry I haven't got back with you sooner. I have checked my Ancestry and I don't have Effie or John Browning in my family tree. all my Everett's came from Everett Springs, Ga. There are a lot of Everett's from Ga. some where down the line I might be related to Effie Everett

If you go to Find A Grave #79649458 that is Joseph Quinton Everett he is my 3rd great grandfather. maybe you might find something that will help you

I am distantly related through Hatalie Brown that was a wife of Norman Mack Denmark, who was also married to Christine Darley. I am not closely enough related to get the memorial transferred to me. Thanks for the offer. Alton

Hi Charlene, the obituary for Mr Corbitt is posted as it was published. If a family members asks, I will redact the names of living persons and leave a note at the bottom of the obituary to explain. Unfortunately, I don't have anything additional on him. I wish I had more information to help. However, I could transfer him if you'd like.
