Sally Wright
Thank you for posting the photo of Sally's tombstone. I believe it solves the date mystery. It appears the year of death is 1849 - not 1896 as posted on the memorial. So, aged 58 years would make her born in 1791 and wife of Gideon Wright confirms she is Sarah "Sally" Stevens Wright. Daughter-in-law of Jane Ayrault Wright in the same cemetery.

Sally M. Smith
Linda,

Sally Maria Crandele [Crandall] was born on September 16, 1807. She married Samuel C. Smith on April 7, 1825, in Clinton, Dutchess, NY, and died on February 26, 1855. I know this information to be correct because it was recorded by Samuel C. Smith, on the Family Register, which was discovered behind an framed photo of Samuel. The Family Register also includes the names and birth dates of their eleven children and the death dates of six of them.

You can contact me at raroot1@gmail.com if you wish to know more about Samuel and Sally (Crandall) Smith and their family.

RE: Terwilliger Photo
Thanks so much, these photos are great! I had thought Ward's (I mis-typed as "Wayne" in my original msg) birth date was 1936, so this clears that up for my records. Thank you! Also, it's fine to use what I have about photos - glad you liked what I finally came up with regarding usage. Thanks again for all your efforts! Hope you have a great evening,
~ Marilyn

Terwilliger @ Forest Avenue Cemetery
Thank you for posting the overview photos to the Terwilliger memorials at Forest Avenue Cemetery. Did you happen to get a close-up shot of each tombstone? I saw the caption mentioned Wayne Terwilliger was buried in the same plot, but it is difficult to read his dates from the photo. Thanks again for your help.

RE: Eastman
Linda,

The Eastman branch of the family tree has been quite confusing, with census records of residences all across the country. The best that we can figure is that Benjamin O. is the son of Benjamin F. - b. 1876 and d. 1962. Maybe that will be of some help.

Eastman
Linda,

Nice photo, but it is for Benjanin F, not Benjamin O. You have posted a photo to Benjamin F.'s memorial already. Hopefully, they are close to each other.

Thanks for your time and effort,

Ken and Vicki

I no longer control the memorial for Sara Stone, Virginia is now in charge. Thanks for the corrections. I lived in Evans for many years, on the Old Lake Shore Rd across from Connor's Hot Dog Stand. I graduated from LSC in 1971

RE: Stone Family Forest Avenue Cemetery
Linda, this branch of the Stone family is complicated with multiple wives & many children with duplicate names! Sound familiar? They migrated from RI to VT to NY. My mother was a Stone and I am researching the family from its origins in RI forward as far as possible. There are Stones in Western NY around Westfield for whom I have not made a connection---yet. I really appreciate the photos you have posted. They are helpful. I have to be careful because some of the family is in Erie Co., PA, others in Erie Co., NY!

Chauncey Stone
Thanks Linda. I now have 16 children and 2 wives for Chauncey. I was surprised to see so many children dying young. Without their headstones, I would not know they existed.

Saphrona Stone at Evans Center Cemetery
Thank you for the Saphrona's headstone photograph and for the notation as to the year it was photographed. I have requested photographs of the rest of the Stone family. Chauncey certainly had a large family! Unfortunately so many children died young.
