RE: Jonathan & Aseneth Besse
No, I am not related. I transcribed from the stones in this cemetery and entered memorials in hopes their family would see them and contact me. I have transferred Aseneth's memorial to you. Please let me know if there are any other of your relatives that you would like to manage.

I am not an descendent, I just found the picture while rummaging through an old book from 1899. The book is out of copyright so I used the pic. I guess you can do the same.

RE: Thaddeus Oldham - Oldham Cemetery
Helen,
The inscription reads as follows:

THADDEUS OLDHAM
DIED
Mar. 26, 1872
AEt. 80

Unfortunately, I will be unable to obtain any cemetery records, if they exist. I have not updated my profile, but moved to WY. last year.

Good luck in your search!
Deborah

RE: Daniel Coolbroth
Hi Helen,
I've volunteered for Maine Old Cemetery Asso. to help update their '76 Bicentennial Inscription Project records of Maine Rev. War veterans & gravesites in Sumner & Hartford, Oxford Co., ME. My grandparents were Horace L. & Lola Merrill COBB of E. Sumner & many of my ancestors are from there. I haven't YET (!) found Daniel Coolbroth in my personal family tree.

RE: Elzie Kilponen
I am sorry, but I have no idea who you are referring to. I have three family trees and I find no one named Elzie Kilponen, so I figure that this must be a married name. can you give me more information, so I can address your question. You may contact me easier at bobglidden55@yahoo.com Yours, Bob

I just fulfilled your photo request. I took this photo back in 2010 on a trip through Searsport. I can tell that you have the general location correct, it was on the left at the entrance of the cemetery. The photo before Lydia's in my album is a Sarah Merithew and the one after her is William Young.

Sloans in Robinson Cemetery
I posted a picture of the baby Alton Sloan stone in Robinson Cemetery. I also added memorials for the other Sloan stones I found and posted pictures.

The stones were very worn but I hope the pictures help!

RE: Walter Collins
Hi Helen. I have a tree that has Walter in it, He had married my grandmother Maude Helen Court and they were divorced within 3 years. They had one child by this marriage, Frank C Collins, my half uncle. Frank had 2 children. Maude had had an earlier child but he never produced any children. She went on to merry my grandfather Benjamin Clifford Cutter and they had 3 children. I'm not sure if there was any contact between Frank or Maud with Walter or not. I found Walters death announcement where I picked up a lot of info plus there was a tree that let me fill in many of Walters ancestors. Walter himself is not related to me.

RE: Wyman cemetery
Info on the Oldham's Family:

Joseph R. Oldham was born July 8, 1838 in Worthley Pond, Peru, Maine. He was the son of Sidney & Joanna (Russell) Oldham. He married Sarah Thomas (Stevens) Oldham, the dau. of Markwell Stevens, in Livermore (or Livermore Falls?) on Aug. 5, 1860. (She was born in about 1842.) They had three children, from what I could find: Roscoe, Angie, and Perry S. Oldham.

That's all I got. :)

I believe the (fallen) headstones I posted are the correct ones based on the proximity to their daughter Charity Lewella (and son Willie W.?).

Helen,

Are you on Ancestry.com? I have info for you but when I wrote to you on this site, I was only given the option of a public message. Perhaps I don't understand how this works.

Yes, Helen, I am a descendant. This looks like it is showing up on public messages. It does not seem to show your full e-mail address. You can write to me as Callmekitkatkate on Ancestry. We probably have info we can share.

Helen, did I reply to your query of May 5, 2012? You suggested that Albert was your GrGrandmother's brother. James Cleveland was married twice and I am descended from the offspring of his second wife, Marguerite Clifford.

Please email me, if you would like to follow-up on this, and we can noodle around with some detail.

Warmly,
Linda Bartlett
