Saint Mary The Virgin Anglican Church in Nassau Bahamas has been blessed with much love. Dave and I have inadvertently created duplicate cemeteries. They were created almost exactly at the same time. He has added more photos than I have - how does one eliminate a cemetery and its 38 records (mine)?

Hey! When I shot some photos years
ago, I always had to be sure not have
the Sun over my back or on an overcast/
cloudy days, to get available light on the
Memorial and not to "cloud it" myself!
And to clear the face as much as possible
of any grass, grass clippings, soil/dirt,
and flowers hanging over and/or blocking
the view! Thank you, John G. O III

|Jimmy Hunt||RE: Esli Hunt Cemetery|
Hi Karen I keep forgetting to check messages here!
Sorry! The best I can do for GPS for this Cemetery is 34.938056 -82.518919. I can double check this from site using my phone GPS tracker. This Cemetery is in Greenville County,SC. that is why its not showing in the Pickens County Cemetery records. (I used a GPS Coordinate finder on my computer and used street view to locate the hillside and targeted the rough estimated location of the graveyard.) Let me know if I can be of more help! Again I will double check this soon from the site

I double checked my photos, and am 100% sure this marker is at the Memorial Hill Cemetery. I also added the GPS coordinates from the photo (thankfully my camera has this capability).
This cemetery is very close to the Capital Parks Cemetery, and both are managed by the same Cook Walden offices at Capital Parks.
My guess is that it's an error in the obit, or the burial plot was changed after the obit was written. I will ask user TRay to remove his memorial, who probably created it based on an obit finding or other data source.

I understand, of course. But I did not create the entry...it was transferred to me as you can see. Clara was an ancestor of mine...My GG Mother was a McLeod.

You left me a message about there being a duplicate entry for Clara McLeod. Thanks. Mine was created a year earlier than the duplicate. But it doesn't bother me that someone has duplicated it. I can't imagine what it will hurt.

|Bearded Graver||IWPP Custodial Account|
Thanks for the heads up. The IWPP Custodial Account was originally created by International Wargraves and what they did originally was list all deportees from Germany with basic info. Was called something like Jews deported from Germany or something line that with a non-existent location in Berlin. Many complained to the site and eventually their whole list of over a million was changed to B/U.
I've contacted F.A.G. several times about the problem it caused, maybe this time they will delete the whole file as others have requested in the past. Fingers crossed.

I left a message for the other memorial to be removed, since it is a duplicate.

|Pat Hendricks||RE: James Franklin Hendricks|
My husband is John Beverly Hendricks. His grandfather Noah Hendricks is the son of James Franklin.John's father was Noah Richardson Hendricks.John's grandfather Noah and grandmother, Caroline Henderson Hendricks and his parents are all buried in a catholic cemetery in Sherman, Texas.
James Franklin's father Henry Hendricks, Jr. died in the Civil War in 1865(Lt-Confederate). We do not know where he is buried. His father Henry Hendricks, Sr. was born in SC in 1835. We do not know where he is buried. His wife Nancy Sarah Major Hendricks is buried in Glassy Mountain Cemetery.
There are intermarriages between one Hendricks line and one Henderson line. My husband is named after John Beverly Henderson. We have a picture of him in his Confederate uniform. That picture was on the cover of "Portraits of Conflict,a Photographic History of Texas in the Civil War."
Right now we are not researching any gravesites of James Franklin's children.
We will appreciate any directions you can give us.

We are interested in James Franklin Hendricks. I think the other graves we might want to see are by his. I think the cemetery we want is the one in Liberty, but I am not sure. We will be visiting the cemetery on Friday, March 27th, and wanted to make sure we could get there without problems.My husband is the grandson of Noah Richardson Hendricks who died in 1928.

|Lisa West Savage||RE: Please help|
I need to go back and look at my notes but it seems like this was one of the churches I had a hard time locating. I think there was a white church with the same name about a half a mile down the road who told me how to find it. They said it was considered Pickens county, SC. Let me get back to you.
>When I enter the street address listed on the cemetery description page (309 St Paul, Easley) in Google Earth, I do not get this building, I get what looks to be a barn, no church in sight. Also, the address places the cemetery in Anderson County, not Pickens County.
I get nothing helpful from Google on this property or church either.

thanks Karyn, I have changed this entry to the correct cem, for Claude Boucher at palm. it was very hard to find, cause on his death cert. in las Vegas, it just had Palm listed as the cem. so I got the name from online. so thanks for leading me to the correct cem. Valerie Boucher.

|Larry C Marcum||Adkins Cemeteries in Scott County TN|
Karyn, we corresponded about the above a couple of weeks ago. I went back to my original files and tried to determine how I could have posted the same photo in two cemeteries. It appears that I was responding to a specific photo request in one instance, but did not know that the memorial was in the wrong cemetery listing. Also, I am now certain that these two cemeteries are infact the same cemetery because I have seen and photographed almost all of the stones on my single visit to Adkins Cemetery on Jellico Creek. I am going to request Find A Grave combine these two cemeteries. I don't know how to resolve the issue of so many duplicates once they are combines. Larry

Love, LOVE your bio. Burial unknowns - rampant in FIND A GRAVE. My other grievance is chalking, scraping the old stones. I just read where an old cemetery in La no longer allows visitors except for family members or with an approved guide.
