|Craig Burnes||another duplicate|
Same as my earlier post. This memorial just appeared one day on my contributor profile. I was suspicious of an attempted hack on my account and notified Find A Grave via email. They have asked me not to attempt any changes as they have this memorial "flagged" someway in their system. Thanks!

Karyn, I did not put that duplicate on my contributor page. I notified Find A Grave about this last week. They instructed me to leave it alone as they are watching it.

You must have told her prior as the duplicate is now gone.

You're welcome. It's an older picture I had taken a few months ago, but it shows some nice flowers around the headstone.

There are repeats of all the graves because the cemetery called (Ray Bobo ) New Bethel Cemetery and New Bethel Baptist Cemetery is one and the same .The Church has 2 cemetery (1) across from the church (old ) no one is buried there any longer unless u bought plot years ago,and (2)The New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery on Kelly Rd. Even thou one listed it as Cross Anchor rd , the New one is on Kelly Rd.
Thanks Pat Brown

The Tweed sign belongs on the Tweed Cemetery that is at white rock. The sign was removed some years ago. There was not a sign the last time I was there.

I took the photo of the grave in what is now called the Tweed Cemetery at Marshall. This is where he is.

What is called the old tweed cemetery is at White Rock in the laurel section. The Tweed cemetery at Marshall is near the Buncombe line. Miles apart.

Correction on my previous message regarding Starcher Cemetery. The memorial for John Jacob Brady Jr as noted in the subject was created in the Starcher Cemetery Calhoun - the one I created is correct as he was buried in the Starcher Cemetery in Big Otter, Clay, WV. I see a few other people who are shown in the Calhoun Starcher Cemetery when they should be shown in the Clay Starcher Cemetery and will notify them of the error. I will leave the correct memorial (#104577776); perhaps the person who posted the other is willing to delete it. I am happy to transfer the one I create to them if they like.

Thank you for pointing out that there is a duplicate of the above memorial in two cemeteries...one called Starcher Cemetery in Clay WV and the other called Starcher Cemetery in Big Otter, Clay, WV. John's OB says he is buried in the Starcher Cemetery, Big Otter but I am not sure if the two Starcher Cemeteries are the same one and maybe the cemetery as been duplicated. Working on it.

|Gary Griffin||Griffin family|
My name is Gary Griffin. I noticed that you have done a fair amount if work on the Griffin family on the line of James Vaughn Griffin and Mary Ascenith McGee. I follow that line as they were my great grandparents. I also have a lot of information on my grandmother 's side, Stella Garvin. If you have any interest in this information or pictures, you may contact me if you wish at 864-350-3466.

|Linda L. Cottrell Liss||Christopher Glen Metheney duplicate|
Yes, you are correct in pointing out the duplicate of Infant Christopher Glen Metheney
buried at the Hicks Cem., Little White Oak, Calhoun Co., WV Mem. #57404849. (I have made some clarifications to my post). While Mem. #32682202 is an older post, the infant is not buried in the Hicks Cem. at Stinson, Calhoun Co., WV. That is the one that should be deleted. Thanks, Linda Cottrell Liss

|Carol Payne||One cemetery, two names|
Thanks for finding this and you're right. I descend from John and Lucy Whitfield and my Giles County Cemetery has the cemetery listed as Elder, Powell, Whitfield. Someone sent me the Powell sisters obituaries and I did some research on some of the people buried that Terry Scruggs didn't do. Will contact him about the duplication when I get a chance (am right in the middle of a painting project now so it will be a while). Stay tuned.

|David Lyle||Lt William Dillard|
According to information on Lt Dillard's web page on the Clemson University Scroll of Honor Memorial website, his parents were Mr and Mrs T. L. Dillard of Six Mile. I assume that Lt Dillard's remains were moved to Hillcrest due to others in the family being buried there. If that is correct, I assume that Thomas Lawrence Dillard is his father. Based on their dates of birth, his mother could be Nell or Irene. He was married, but his widow probably remarried and is now deceased. His son is apparently still living as he wrote a note on the Clemson website.

|Peggy Garrison Thompsen||Annie B Hannah Hudson|
In his case there ARE two maiden names. Annie, about three,came with her parents
by wagon to my ggrandarents' farm. Within three days both parents had died, probably of typhoid. Annie was raised by my HUDSON ggrandparents, but not formally adopted. Her birth name was Annie Belle HANNAH.

Hi! Went to transfer his memorial to the correct Old Toxaway Cemetery, but there are 3 of them. So, I transferred the memorial to you. You might be able to clear up a lot of the inconsistencies on his memorial. Sure thank you a lot for getting in touch.
