I can't express how grateful we all are, the Jones Family. As you know, there are many graves there without headstone and we hope to raise money to do so. Many of our family have never visited the actual cemetery and your pictures are truly treasures. Thanks so much

the solution is to open each memorial and change only the burial data to the correct cemetery on all one hundred and one entries in (your Mt Bethel cemetery) when there are no burials in that cemetery we can asked find a grave to delete the listing as an error. This will keep your original data including photos in place since your entries are older than mine I will delete the duplicate I made of memorials involved. Remember to add church photo to the correct church. I am sorry for the confusion this has caused, and Thank you for the corrections you are making. Bren

I know that you and the hubby have worked in the lamar county area awhile where are you working now ?
The padgetts of north georgia have been documented well on Find a grave. Several of us covered 4 counties...I really enjoyed it. My little chihauhua helps me out and chases lizards around here really hated to move but I will get started again here. My husband and I were transplants from the mississippi gulf coast Biloxi area so most of our relations are there. If i have any of his relations in my north ga stuff please let me know. Thanks for the corrections they were just things I saw as I looked at things in Lamar Co.,

Do you know how to get to the Worthy 1 Cemetery? Seems I am kin to everyone of them. Also do you know which Worthy these Cemeteries are named after?

I was looking at the Worthy Cemeteries #1 and #2. I was wondering where they are. My last name was Worthy and I found Great-Great-Great-Great-Grandparents in one of the cemeteries.

I was looking at the picture of George Sr's headstone and there is what appears to be a childs grave with Abercrombie on it. I plan on going back to Culloden this weekend. I actually went to look for a friends grave and it got dark before I found it.

I can no longer see the edit I sent. I've been sending through some edits where the memorial had no last name so perhaps that was it. But I know nothing more about this person. Thanks for checking with me.

You have a photo of the headstone for William A McDaniel, b. 1876 and d. 1878 at Mt. Zion church in Lamar County. I am trying to find out if William is the 1st child of Sarah Hawkins McDaniel and Samuel J. McDaniel. When I visited this cemetery abt 4 years ago I did not see the monument you posted but I did see a very small marker leaning against the headstone for Sarah H McDaniel. I'm not sure who to contact for this information. Do you know if there are records at Mt. Zion church and/or how I might contact this church?
Sarah Hawkins McDaniel is my great grandmother and little is known about her as she died when my grandfather was very young.
