I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the photo of my Aunt Ivy's grave. It's nice to know she has a great head stone and that she was placed in a good clean Cemetary. My father died a couple years ago and I'd like to bury his ashes close to his favorite sister. Again thank you so so much.

I am so glad to know that the grave has been taken care of now. Imogene's parents and Jones grandparents are also buried in that cemetery.
When you want to spend time photographing a cemetery, most of the names have been listed but not many photos taken in Pine Grove Cemetery in Polk County, east of Corrigan. Beautiful country there, too.
My grandparents & their families were all from that area so if I can help you learn about something or someone, just let me know.

Thank you so much for the excellent photo of the funeral home marker. You saw the poor photo I took. I was so shocked at the condition of my cousin's grave, I could hardly snap the camera. I hope the washed away dirt has been replaced and that the grave is looking much better.

|Cheryl Cartwright||Oh No!|
Hi Tamara, I don't know what to do! I was at the Greenwood Cemetery on Thursday with my mom and sister, combing cemeteries for family history and I had my list of Find A Grave photo requests. I took tons of pictures because I like to add to this site whenever I can... Well tonight I was uploading to the different memorials as they were on the camera...no particular order...just as I had walked the cemetery snapping here and there. I came across one that I just knew had been on the request list but the Success screen didn't pop up so I thought maybe the site was having problems. Then after a few more times...I clicked the list because I still saw there were several requests and my heart sank when I saw you had claimed them today! I am just sick! I certainly did not intend to "run under" you! I didn't find all the graves listed. I feel terrible! I am soo sorry! I have never had this happen before... Please accept my sincere apology. I have learned a lesson and will be more careful in the future. I hope I haven't ruined your day...Again I am very sorry! Cheryl

|Alicia Houston||Many Thanks for the Alford Photo|
Thank you so very much for taking the photograph of the grave marker for Verna Alford (# 48899465) at the Buxton Community Cemetery in Banks, Oregon. I appreciate your willingness to find and post pictures for people who, in most cases, are probably total strangers.
The tantalizing thing about this particular headstone is that I can see that there are dates recorded, but can't quite make them out! Would it be too much trouble to ask for another picture? Maybe you could brush off some of the moss? Or maybe read the dates and post the information?
This puzzle is like an itch in the middle of your back that can't be reached! Thanks so much for your consideration.
Sincerely, Alicia Houston

I do not know what possessed me to look up grave in Washington. But I noticed that you have posted a picture of my great grandpa. What a surprise. I thought I knew most of my extended family. Just curious how you are related to the Chisholm clan.
I look forward to hearing from you and curious to see more pictures!

To answer your question having connections to all the Penningtons? The Penningtons that I have connected are the ones in the Evergreen Cemetery. I am in the process of updating all the records for this cemetery.

|Nicole Mattison||Who Officially Manages Records for the Cemetery?|
Thank you very much for posting a picture of the site of our Great Grandmother Bessie Mattison.
My Grandfather unfortunately has fallen extremely ill and we are in preplanning stages as we speak. I see you are quite intimate with the layout of the cemetery and am wondering if you by chance know of whom is in charge or manages its records at the current moment. The gentleman, a former board member, that was our families contact unfortunately has grown old himself and has no idea who does this at present. Our family has purchased 3 lots there and we need to figure out how we can make arrangements when the moment arrives.
I thank you in advance for your time and any information you are able to assist with.

I removed my memorials for Joseph Wesley & Vada Belcher. Sorry for the duplicates. I have created a memorial for their daughter, Lois Jane, for which I added a link to your memorial of her parents. I also have created a memorial for Vada's parents, William Tell & Effie Butcher (who happen to be my great-grandparents). You may want to add their memorial links to your memorial for Vada. William Tell's Find A Grave Memorial # is 68652522. Effie's Find A Grave Memorial # is 68652661. Thank you!

|Jan B.||Hall-Tipton Vernonia|
I saw you reported you couldn't find the Hall-Tipton Cemetery in Vernonia. I have never been there, but I have a book that references the directions. From Bridge St. in Vernonia turn South onto Pebble Creek Rd. and drive 0.2 miles. The cemetery is on the left hand side of the road, on private property, and not visible from the road. The address is 523 Pebble Creek Rd. and the GPS coordinates are T4N R4W S3.

I just read your bio. I can relate, even to the husbands!! I guess he isn't through with me either. Now that we are coming into summer I hope to be able to get back with it, seems like it has been a long winter this year.
Geo. & Emma are out on another branch, haven't been able to really connect but their names were in the family Bible and a newspaper article named them as Aunt & Uncle to my husbands line. There is a connection there somewhere. As of now I'm good with leaving their memorials in your care. I guess I should do a little bio for myself, just haven't gotten around to it. D.M.

Tamara, Thank you, as we live in the middle of the country it would have been impossible for us to get these pictures. I've been able to fill some requests around here and find it very satisfying. Thank you again. D.M.
