|Lori Love||Sailors family|
Hi Bryan! We are more than likely related on the Sailors side. I am hoping that you may be able to confirm that Mary L Caroline Sailors, wife of Lewis Martin Chandler, was also the daughter of James Madison Sailors and Edith Caroline Chandler. I am a bit further down the tree, Willie Mae Smith, my grandmother, was the granddaughter of Christopher Columbus Sailers/Sailors (1847-1927) and Martha Ann White. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you! Lori Love

|Ann Kennedy Patton||Chandler question|
I have a question that you may be able to answer.
Lillie chandler married Eber Kennedy. He was the son of Joe and Ellen Plunkett Kennedy. My father has a pic that he said was Joe and Ellen right after they were married. However, I have distant cousins that say the pic is of Lillie and Eber when they were married. Look at pic on memorial #11475130. Do you know if this is Lillie Chandler? or is it correctly identified as Ellen? Eber looked very much like his father Joe so I can see the man being either one. The only other pics I have of Ellen are when she was very old. THANKS for any help!

|On the Trail||Sons of Dudley Chandler|
Just wondering if you might can help me. DO you know if Bethel B Chandler was also one of Dudley Chandlers sons? Along with Allen M, Dudley C, and Elder Wm D Chandler, a "Bethel B Chandler" is listed on the roster of 16th Regt Georgia Volunteer Infantry Company A "Madison Greys" which was organized at Madison County, GA as follows:
Chandler, Bethel B.- private July 11, 1861. Died in Guinea Station, Va. hospital May 6,1863.
I noticed that one of the sons named one of his sons born after the CW Bethel B so I was just wondering if this might have been to honor his brother?

Bryan, thanks for the transfers. I didn't request transfers b/c they are not "close" kin, but I do appreciate so much you giving them to me. Now I can add some data to the memorials. Thanx again!!!

|Patricia White||RE: Family Photos|
No problem! Glad I could help. The Chandlers were in the old shadowlawn cemetery while the Biggers and Huff's were in the newer section. I saw a few other stones for Biggers very close to the one I photographed. I'm wondering if it a brother to the man's tombstone I took. Also, did Mr. Chandler have 2 wives? The one you requested was not the one he is buried beside.

|Angie Henley||Mt Hermon|
Check the Mt Hermon memorials and make sure they look ok to you. Funny, I had all of these people transferred to me a few months ago so I could delete the duplicates under Ila Cemetery. Every time you'd do a search for one of these Henleys they would come up twice. Same with the Chandlers buried on Rogers Mill Rd at the old homeplace.
These Henleys are all my close family - Lewis Chandler Henley is my father. Dan & Levie are my grandparents. John & Rebecca my greats. The rest are siblings.

Joseph Chandler 1879 - 1957
Lena R. Chandler 6/1/1884 - 11/23/1968
Sorry about the quality of the photos. They both had a lot of mud which I tried to wipe off as much as possible. It was also cloudy.
I am going to try and email the uncompressed photo to you to see if that is better.

|Phil||Chandlers at Westview|
I see your request for a photo on findagrave for Westview Cemetery. I am familiar with that cemetery and would be happy to look for you. Would you please call the cemetery office at 404-755-6611 to find out the section and lot numbers for your request? And please also confirm there is actually a marker. The office is reluctant to give me that information and in fact has threatened to charge me for it. They do however give it easily to relatives. The cemetery is massive and that section/lot information will help me narrow the search.

Bryan, you created a memorial at Meadow for this Mary Dudley. Would you please give me the name of her parents so I can locate her in my family tree? Thanks a million. Joyce

|Howard Martin||RE: Chandler Photos|
Hello again Bryan,
I went back to the cemetery today and asked about the memorial wall. I was informed that Michael was not actually interred in the park but that he has a small memorial plaque on the wall. His remains were likely scattered elsewhere, but they do not have a specific record of the event. I have posted a picture of the wall and his memorial plaque.

Going to take another look for Michael. According to the online database, Michael is shown in the South Memorial Wall so he could be in the mausoleum or it might just be a plaque from their scatter garden where ashes are placed. I'll let you know if I find him for you.

You have them now.
I saw at least two in WV and sent them also just in case. If you do not want to take care of them you can just transfer them back. But, I thought that if you were doing that name it just might help you. I collect my surname where ever I find them.
SO, Happy Researching, Bud.
