Anthony, I've handed off Margaret's memorial but could I ask that until a tombstone photo is added you leave the note giving Mrs. Bartol as the source for this burial. Many of her burials no longer have a stone and her records are the only way we know where certain people are buried. Thanks, Forrest.

|Justin Zierke||Info on John Carl William Zierke|
My name is Justin Zierke and Carl was also my great-great grandfather. One of his son's was William Albert Zierke, who had a son named Rhodell Zierke, who had a son named Jerold Zierke who is my father. There are some variations on Carl's name: John Carl William Zierke, Carl Johann Wilhelm Zierke, Johann Carl Wilhelm Zierke, and John Carl Wilhelm Zierke. His wife is listed as Minnie J. Berg and the variation on her name is: Maria Wilhelmina (Minnie) Johanna Berg (Zierke). If you have any information past the point that Carl was born in Pommern, Prussia, it would be of great help. I cannot find parents, birth records, etc.

|Annette Gann||Anna Barbara Bergey Meyer|
i am curious regarding Anna Barbara Bergey Meyer 13836520. I am trying to research her. She is my 8th great grandmother. I have found information that she married Hans Jacob Meyer and Christian Meyer. ( I may be wrong on this as well), but when I check out the children it becomes very confusing. Do you have more accurate information on this line? Thank you.

|Michele Davis||Harold Floyd Facemire|
Thanks for the heads up on Harold Facemire. I can make a link for the Mt. Pleasant cemetery listing, if this is only a service memorial plaque. Is he actually buried at Mt. Pleasant rather than Memorial Gardens? I am not related to Harold, so I can transfer him to you, or delete the Memorial Gardens entry. Please advise. Thank you for your help, Michele

|David Wagner||Joseph Ira Wagner|
Joseph Wagner, was my great great grandfather. He had three sons and one daughter. His son Chester A Wagner was my grandfather, but I also knew and was very close to all of my grandfather's siblings, Naomi, Harvey and Ira. I grew up about a half a mile away from this cemetery, Belfast Baptist Cemetery. My grandfather helped build the adjacent Belfast Baptist Church. I know a fair amount about all of the children of Joseph Ira Wagner if anyone want to know more about the branch of the Wagner family in southwest Missouri (originating from Pennsylvania prior to that).

|Red53||Henry Lampson Ferry|
In regards to Henry L Ferry: you have his mother listed as Elizabeth (Cupp) Ferry. Elizabeth was Henry's father, Silas's (1801-1863) 2nd wife (Henry's Step-Mother). Silas remarried after Henry's mother, Flavia (French) Ferry died in 1850. I have records from
---Memorial and Biographical Record of Turner, Lincoln, Union, and Clay Counties South Dakota, Geo A Ogle Co, Chicago, 1897---
that give all of this information and if you would like I could email a copy to you. There are 5 other children of Henry and Mary Jane Reyburn listed also. Henry's mother Flavia was my husbands 3rd Great Grandmother. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

|George Thompson||Info on William Thompson|
I was wondering how much you knew about William Thompson?
My ggg grandfather was named William Thompson (middle initial J). He was born in Illinois around 1809 and eventually moved to TN, in 1850 he and his family (wife and kids) were in IL. 1860 they were in Ar. 1870 in MO. However, I have reason to believe he went back to Ill. in a possible attempt to find a son. If this is the case, I believe he died in Ill. The dates for your William could possibly match mine, and so I was wondering what all you knew about William. Thanks.

Hi, Thanks for letting me know the correct spelling of Emily House Pangburn's mothers name was Bottorff. I assume that this was her maiden name, right?
Emily was my late husband's great grandmother. His grandmother was Addie Pangburn Pickrell.
I have not researched this family for a number of years. I was not able to find anything on Emily's mothers family. And now I know why. Do you have any info on her? It seams strange that one off Addie's great granddaughters married a Pottorff.

|Diane Wolfgang Ross||William Deibert|
Hello, This afternoon I was at Zions Red Church Cemetery but was not very successful in locating the grave of William Deibert. The stones are pretty impossible to read - the writing is quite worn away... But there is a memorial plaque honoring men from the Revolutionary War. There is a William Deibert listed there. I would be happy to post that picture for you if you like. Also as I was leaving the cemetery I noticed on the church sign that the pastor is a friend of mine. I did not make the connection that this was her church. I have sent her a message to see if there might be a church record of burial locations - that might make it possible to identify the correct grave! If I have any success I will certainly pass it on.

This is the only Jesse buried out there. I have the books and there are several Thompson's but only 1 Jesse. Maybe I can look into who bought the lot and when. I have access to the sales book. I will save your letter and look this up.

|bill||RE: Jesse Thompson|
The only thing the cemetery records show is SE Orig. lot 514 grave 7 was bought by Jess Thompson. There is no way to find out if there was a burial there other than looking at the ground. In this old section,you can see some indentations of a grave dug.
I don't know how I can help you other than just looking at the grave sight.

Yes, Andrew Shultz Carr would be my 3rd great-grand uncle. I come through his just older brother William Mitchell Carr. I have information with historical records and pictures on ancestry.com if you are interested in what I have on that side of the family. It's fun to see how families connect.
