RE: Henry and Lucy Clark Gibbs
Happy to assist in the transfer. Was just going through my old messages and ran across a few that I had missed. I have a Clark line which came from Kentucky. Goshen Cemetery is within my reach. I only been stomping it for 16 years. There is a Gibbs street in Goshen; maybe there is a connection from the past with your Gibbs surname. I'm not related to this line. If you need anything else and if I can help just drop me a message. I do some research in the local area for our county which has a wonder Genealogy section at our Clermont County Library.

If you need any extra pictures I can also mark it doing GPS and send by email.

Best Regards,
CharlieAngels,

Kerry, Any of them that you can link or find maiden names for would be most helpful. Or, any information for that matter. I post any information I can find on them on their page. With right at 7,000 names, it is hard for me to do them all. But, I work on them just about every day and have been since 2003.

Kerry, You are most welcome. I appreciate your help, too. Normally I do not transfer Hollywood names as I am still working on linking, adding maiden names, etc, but I felt like you could do more with your GGGrandfather's page than I could. I know you will take good care of him.

Martha Doane
Kerry I went back at looked at Martha's information and you are most likely corrected that she was born in England. Her brother and sister were born there and is likely that her parnets did not travel to America and then back in the short time between her siblings birth. I probably entered date on each child at different times and just didn't make the connection to the time line.

Kerry, thanks for the email. I will check my info on Martha Doane's parents. I have seen information on other people who have emmigrated from England to the Americas and then return to England some because the the hard living conditions. Their daugthers both were married so it would not be necessary for their parents to stay here. If you have any info on this please let me know.

Thanks,

RE: Powers in Piner Cemetery
We have had winter weather here for several weeks in Wisconsin.

I had such a good experience cleaning up "my family cemetery" in Moral township, Shelby Co, Indiana in October. I can't wait to come back to Indiana in the Spring.

Thanks again.

Powers in Piner Cemetery
Thank you so much for attempting to find Sylvester Power at this cemetery. If you are ever in the area again, it would be wonderful to have pictures of William Power's stone.

I do appreciate you taking the time to search.

Thanks for the heads up on Joshua's memorial. I added his and wife Ellender's dates of birth correctly. I just noticed both their memorials have been added 2 more times to Findagrave since I entered them in 2003. Wow.

Anyway, a transcript of family information I have of Joshua's daughter Lydia Seale-Phillips gives their dates of birth and I have updated my information.

Thanks again,
Lisa

RE: Amanda Berry Moffett Memorial# 13820750
I found this on Ancestry.com showing that James D. Moffett was married to Amanda Jane Wilkerson, and not Amanda Jane Berry. Amanda Berry was probably married to John Moffett and they are also listed in this cemetery.

I will delete the incorrect entry. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

MOFFETT FAMILY BIBLE ENTRY:

James David Moffett and Amanda Jane Wilkerson were united in the Holy Bond of Matrimony on the twenty ninth day of March Anno. Dominer Eighteen Hundred and Seventy-three the marriage ceremony was performed by Arnold Branton a Justice of Peace in Angelena County Texas. Witnesses present. Amanda Jane Moffett daughter of John & Charlotte Wilkerson was born August 10th A.D. 1854

Let me look into this further. I may have Amanda Jane Berry married to the wrong Moffett. It may should be John and not James. I will check into this further and make any correction that may be needed.

After Ancestry bought out Find A Grave, lots of things changed, including how edits can be made. If the manager is inactive, the change will occur automatically after 2 weeks on the list.

Happy to make that correction. By the way, it would have been easier for me had you used the Edit tab and Other to tell me or even the Edit tab and Inscription box. Glad you noticed this mistake.

I have no idea about the "F" listed as the middle initial. I wonder if he was called Fate since his middle name was Lafayette and they thought that was his name.

Hello Kerry,

Thank you so much for catching the error, I appreciate it very much.

I have made the correction and have looked at the photo for Rev. Hiram and Patsy Lincks Johnson.

Do you have any better copy for this photo?

It does not open any larger in the memorial.

Also - please feel free to place that same photo with Rev. Hiram Johnson, it would be welcomed.
