Some of the corrections that are made come to us as "edits." We don't get an email notification of the correction, but we're supposed to check our page periodically for these "edits." Your note reminded me that I needed to check them. Your edit should be processed shortly. Thank you!

High Kerry, It has been awhile since I did much on my family history. I could not remember which one it was Isaac or his son that died on way to California. Wasn't it that the son that died in Grant County Arkansas on his trip? I need to look at it and see what I have and why. Will let you know thanks for the heads-up. Margaret Sprinkle

Jennie Farr - Hollywood Cemetery
I was working on Hollywood Cemetery this morning and pulled up the page for Jennie Farr. I found the very sweet message about me documenting Hollywood. You made my day! It is people like you who stop to notice and I really appreciate your kind and uplifting message. Warmly, Judy K. Wilson

Ahhhh...it helps when one takes their time reading a message. Sorry about that.

I do not have anything that shows who her parents were. I wish I could help you....

Happy Trails!

Good Evening Kerry,

There are several family trees that show America as being their daughter. One I recall is this one, http://roberta-armstrong.net/family/armstrong/Bryan/america1827.htm. Also, a gentleman named Don Kirk also shared this info with me. It was from Don I obtained the photo of my great, great grandfather Bill Lawrence with America and one from him alone on an old tintype of just. Don is a descendent of America's Macgavock line.

In addition, I studied the birth dates of their parents and they are in line with America being their child...they were not old enough to be her grandparents.

Thanks for writing!

Thanks for the inquiry. Can't do any checking on it currently, but I'd say that if you have documentation that a different date is correct, that makes it more likely. I'm talking generally---not able to go into it now but will definitely save your message and address the question down the line. Since if memory serves me correct this is someone who married into a Mayflower line, I'd trust that info. Again, can't do my genealogy work for a week or so---sigh---real time impinges, darn!

Happy to assist in the transfer. Was just going through my old messages and ran across a few that I had missed. I have a Clark line which came from Kentucky. Goshen Cemetery is within my reach. I only been stomping it for 16 years. There is a Gibbs street in Goshen; maybe there is a connection from the past with your Gibbs surname. I'm not related to this line. If you need anything else and if I can help just drop me a message. I do some research in the local area for our county which has a wonder Genealogy section at our Clermont County Library.

If you need any extra pictures I can also mark it doing GPS and send by email.

Best Regards,
CharlieAngels,

Kerry, Any of them that you can link or find maiden names for would be most helpful. Or, any information for that matter. I post any information I can find on them on their page. With right at 7,000 names, it is hard for me to do them all. But, I work on them just about every day and have been since 2003.

Kerry, You are most welcome. I appreciate your help, too. Normally I do not transfer Hollywood names as I am still working on linking, adding maiden names, etc, but I felt like you could do more with your GGGrandfather's page than I could. I know you will take good care of him.

Martha Doane
Kerry I went back at looked at Martha's information and you are most likely corrected that she was born in England. Her brother and sister were born there and is likely that her parnets did not travel to America and then back in the short time between her siblings birth. I probably entered date on each child at different times and just didn't make the connection to the time line.

RE: Correction needed to #60407903
Kerry, thanks for the email. I will check my info on Martha Doane's parents. I have seen information on other people who have emmigrated from England to the Americas and then return to England some because the the hard living conditions. Their daugthers both were married so it would not be necessary for their parents to stay here. If you have any info on this please let me know.

Thanks,

RE: Powers in Piner Cemetery
We have had winter weather here for several weeks in Wisconsin.

I had such a good experience cleaning up "my family cemetery" in Moral township, Shelby Co, Indiana in October. I can't wait to come back to Indiana in the Spring.

Thanks again.

Powers in Piner Cemetery
Thank you so much for attempting to find Sylvester Power at this cemetery. If you are ever in the area again, it would be wonderful to have pictures of William Power's stone.

I do appreciate you taking the time to search.
