Suzanne, I have tried to correct the name. Find A Grave will not let me. I am his great-grandson. It is wrong on the tombstone. His fisrt name was Iranklin. I have records to prove it.

Bear Swamp - Spivey
Last week I tried to find the graves of Henry Spivey and wife Virginia Agnes. The family had no wi-fi or I would have been able to access this site. Could you please tell me which of the three stones in the picture belongs to Henry? I can see that the darker one is Virginia Agnes. Who is the third? I live in California and hope to get back some day.

I was at St. Aloysius Cemetery trying to photograph headstones for a number of people. It's a decent sized cemetery and I was not able to find the headstones by walking around. I stopped by the church (610-326-5877) and the man in charge of the records would not help me. Was actually a jerk about the request. He said I had to put in a written request and there would be a fee just to get me the location within the cemetery. I found 2 other headstones with that last name, but they are not the ones you are looking for. I would be happy to send you that picture. There are other requests for this cemetery that have specific locations listed and I don't know how they got that info if this guy was the gate keeper.

Hugh Gibson
Hi, I have been to Warren Cemetery 3 times now I'm having trouble finding Hugh Gibson. I looked at the cemetery records and Hugh isn't listed in the records at all. I will be going back and I will take a look again and see if I can try and find Hugh.

Zarvis Thomas Ford
My grandmother doesn't know. She doesn't remember any one after Mary Ford Faulkenburry. If I hear anything about John I'll be sure to let you know though.

Zarvis Thomas Ford

I recently started researching my family and I wanted to let you know that I am related to Zarvis through his father's (Daniel Roy Ford) brother (John Hardy Ford). My grandmother's grandma (we always called her Grandma Faulkenberry) is John H. Ford's daughter.

I'm messaging to say thank you for all the information you've put up about the Ford family, and I look forward to finding more about them. I was always told they came from Ireland, so I can't wait to find the ancestors who brought the family over the ocean.

James Ford Born 1660AD
I saw an old posting you added to Geni and I replied only to receive a message that you had not logged into that site in many years, but I found you here! Was wondering if you had ever uncovered where our Ford's sailed from? England or Barbados? Hope to hear from you.

RE: Message
Yes, This is my paternal grandmother. I have always known her as Mettie E. Elliott but according to census reports, her name was Beadie but somehow got lost in translation somewhere along the way. Her Husband was Marvin H. Elliott. I was always told his name was Marvin Hanes but turns out it was Marvin Hayuse or whatever the spelling was. Thanks for all you do. I have found so much on this forum / memorial and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Keith Russell Elliott, eldest son of Judson Rudolph Elliott and Patsy Ruth Hardy Elliott.

Caskey, R.
You requested a photo of this person grave at Astatula cemetery in Florida.
I am working with the town clerk to go through this cemetery. They have a record of R. Caskey, but have no DOB or DOD. Also, no markings. Just that they are by a corner post. No other info is available.

RE: :)
what is your connection with them? Let me know what you can about Stover and I will help you. I'm well versed in this area :)

We have to be related!

I think we are related! Based on the Potts name I am assuming that your grandmother is Gertrude Threatt? My grandmother is Gert's sister Sara Threatt Haynes. I stumbled upon your page researching the Mahaffey/Barton line. It seems like the Mahaffey's and Threatt's have been in South Carolina for a very long time.
