|HC Hughes||Oak Hill Coralville|
I just wanted to let you know that I have been trying to photograph all the remaining memorials in Oak Hill for the past few weeks. I have not yet located the specific memorials you have requested, but I will keep looking. Just last week, I found one headstone I'd been searching for totally hidden under a peony bush, and another that was so large and distinctive that I have no idea how I managed to walk right past it a half dozen times without noticing.

It's OK. The other person just had emailed me to inform me that they added the pictures to the entry I already had.
Sometimes several people will have gotten involved with a single entry.
But thanks for your interest.

It was no trouble. I was in town visiting relatives and took those photos while taking photos of relatives that I have buried there, too.

You have made several photo requests. For anyone to honor your request, we need the burial plot, site and grave. If you would call the cemetery and get this information, it would help other volunteers to fulfill your request. Linda

|TLH||Roy Sorenson photo request|
Hi, the volunteers would be happy to fill your photo request however we will need a burial location to do so.
Can you please contact Laurel Land and get a burial location for your request? The number is 214 371 1336
or the email link is:
There are over 520 photo requests currently and the volunteers cannot ask for that many locations to fill requests. With a location, your request will get filled pretty quickly. Thanks for your help!

|Bill & Martha Menzel||RE: Photo Req: John Duncan Mount Olivet Bureau County, IL|
I found this tombstone. The tombstone does not have John on it anyplace, just Ralph, his middle name. I uploaded the photo, but please note the memorial you created is a duplicate of memorial 95083244.
I have high resolution copies of the photos and if you would like them, I would be happy to email them to you.

|Ron Miller||RE: James Smallwood|
I have a picture of the area where the Smallwoods are buried. I will post it to their memorials. It shows a small flag that is on his fathers grave. I will go by the local VA office to inquire about a Veterans Marker. If one can be approved and acquired I will place it myself.

|Ron Miller||James Smallwood|
I believe that James parents are Bruce F. and Frances Louise Smallwood. James was buried by their side. If James was a WW2 KIA then if at all possible he should have a military marker. Are you related in any way? The markers are free but it costs a little to have them placed. For the sacrifice he made he deserves a marker.

I went back today to take another picture of Oscar McClure and you will be pleased. The tombstone is in good shape and the picture looks great. It must have been to late in the day when I took the other one. I posted it on his memorial for you.
