RE: Grand View Cemetery Changes
Thanks - but you did all that data entry! We've been away and I see Grand View has several photo requests. I hope to take care of them this week.

Reuben Hiram Oakey
Hi, I was searching for Reuben Oakey in the Yerington Cemetery but couldn't find him. I created a new memorial for him and then discovered you had entered him under the last name of Oakley. I have deleted the people I added and will send you corrections for my family. Got just a little confused but eventually figrued it out. Thank you for creating memorials for his family. RE: John Server

I'm in California, nowhere near where any of my ancestors ore buried. All I can do is add information to existing photos from my genealogical research. Is it okay if I do that?

Hi Carol! He is my gg grandfather, born in Virginia and lived in Fillmore County, MN. If you're on Ancestry, look at my Dickerson family tree for corroboration. Thank you.

Thank You. I have the information you found. Just can't find where he is buried. His father is my 2 times great uncle so I guess Samuel is my cousing so many times removed.

RE: Helen Allen
Helen G Bird 3/11/07-11/8/90 married Romie Lee Allen 4/00-4/10/56 on 7/9/25 per Washington marriage records.
She then married Harold E Orth 12/24/04-12/28/84 on 1/12/57 again per Washington marriage records. I have not been able to locate A Find A Grave memorial for Harold to link to her.
She was listed as Helen Orth on the Social Security Death index.
Hope this is sufficient, and thanks for your diligence.

Thanks, Carol.
I kept you a little busy today, but I really appreciate what you're doing.

You're great!

Sylvia M. Hertel

P.S. I have several Freys among my ancestors. I wonder what the possibilities would be of us being related. Have a great week!

RE: Grand View Cemetery Changes
I request a correction. I post a flower with my documentation so I can check it when I get the notice the correction has been made. If everything is ok I then delete the flower. Some take months before the correction is made and I get no notice of what I originally wanted corrected and I cannot remember it! Thanks for a quick response!
Also subsequent researchers can see the documentation of what needs to be added or is available!

I find that very sad as these people are our families and there was no way I could get there to do this myself. I think it is great that there are people like you that are willing to do this.

I have some information if you could add I would appreciate it. Gunnar was her second husband, they married in Skagit on 11/16/1935. Her first husband was Elver C Johnson (marriage date unknown) 148172069. He is also buried here. Their two oldest sons are also buried at this cemetery. Rudolph Perry Johnson 148172048 and my stepfather Marvin E Johnson 148172166. If I need to do anything please let me know.

Again thank you so much

Christopher Johnson

That's wonderful, Carol! I live in New Orleans. My father is from here. My mother was born in Seattle as Lucia Rosa Giuliani. She lived at 911 23rd Ave.S. She went to St. Mary's Church and Elementary School, and then on to Garfield High School. She is now Lucille Rose Giulian Argence.(91 years old with Alzheimers). I'd love to know if you and I are related. I know some of the genealogy, and I'm in contact with some of her Giuliani relatives in Dambel, Italy. I've visited there twice. My grandfather Agostino (August) Giuliani and his sister Mary, brother David, and sister Amabile( New York) all came to America at different times. He, Mary, and David lived in Seattle. I've heard that my grandparents had some relatives/ friends with the name Giuliani in Renton, Washington. I have some other photos too, possibly with those relatives. Do you have an email address that I could use to communicate with you? I would love to see the photos that you have.
Thanks for your message,
Carol Argence

Grandview Cemetery
Carol, I am looking forward to more photos - thanks so much. My cousin Vickey Baker did a lot of our relatives and I am filling in the ones still unmemorialized. I so appreciate your help.

I was at Grandview in December for a funeral of my great aunt who was 103! As I drove through there (I am from Kitsap County but my dad was born in Anacortes) I realized that probably half or more of my closest ancestors/relatives are buried there, both from the Haddon and Schwartz clans.

Thank you for accepting the edits for Emma so rapidly. The photo of Emma and her brothers was found in an old album of cabinet cards that belonged to my great-aunt, whose family were neighbors of the Aufferts. It was quite an exciting journey to discover who these children were, where they were buried, and to get their photo posted and to have them linked to their parents in Findagrave.
I appreciate the work you do in Findagrave. It makes these linkages and family histories possible!

Thanks for the pictures you post.
You added a marker picture to Ida Mae Chisholm English and the page creator had misspelled her name. If not for your picture I would have moved on, thinking the memorial was for someone else. Your generous volunteer work matters greatly! Thank you.
