Thank you so much for the picture of Vernon's headstone. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated. Thank you also for all you do for Find-A-Grave. It is so wonderful to be able to see these headstones of cousins I never knew but always wanted to.

thank you so much for the headstone pictures. It is in rough shape, but I can read it well enough to confirm it matches the few details I have. I appreciate it.

Elizabeth Renshaw Center
Hi - thanks for your note about the above person. I now see that you had created a memorial for "E A Renshaw" (#A 105327736), and in looking at the photo attached to that memorial it appears that it may be the same stone as on her daughter's memorial (# 18654232) - one name on the front, one on the back. They died just a year or so apart, and I had been told that they were buried together, so it all makes sense! I don't yet understand why the stone has her earlier Renshaw name - she had been married to Wm. Center for 30+ years and had children by him. (I wonder if the very top part of the stone that is completely worn away says "Wife of William Center" then the "E A Renshaw" under that. That would make sense).

How would you like to handle this? I made the duplicate memorial (# 136343944) under Elizabeth Center, and it now has a bio and family links. We could move all that over to your E A Renshaw and I'd delete mine, or you could delete yours and move the photos to mine. Or you could transfer your E A Renshaw to me and I'll take care of the rest. I'd like to end up with her memorial if possible as she is my great-great grandmother.

Thank you so much for all your work at Walnut Hill Cemetery!

~ Chris

Oh, Betty - I really do thank you, again & again. I didn't know that Rose had remarried, so could not find where she was buried. You have answered my question. Bless you.

After I hit send, I remembered Amy's name. She was younger. Small world!!!!! I think my sister still runs across Denise now and then; isn't she a teacher? I have no idea about Susan. Haven't seen her since HS.

The ones who lived on Thompson. Susan was a year younger than I am, and Denise was my sister's age. We all went to Village, scouts, etc.

RE: Helen Louise Shellenberger Becker
Sure. I don't know how I knew that some Shellenbergers were from Bushong; my mom told me once when we drove through it, and I don't know why she knew. I think they were the grandparents of the kids I knew in Emporia. Mom was from the big metropolis of Delavan!!! BD
