RE: Polly Reed
Hi Jacob, No, I am not related. I just happened to be looking at Cumings/Cummings records in the Fairview Cemetery. (think I received an edit) I saw more children linked to Timothy than to his wife Catherine. Took me a bit but finally found Polly was linked wrong. Denise.

This family is not directly related to me, though through marriage of a great aunt who is on the inlaw side of the family. Just updating information when someone sends in corrections. Thanks for the links.

Thank you again. I would really appreciate a memorial to James. He was born @ 1824 in WV and died in 1933 in Wetzel County, WV. I don't know if he is in Northview.
He is the son of George Dudley Dunham and Susan Rush Dunham see her memorial 51234483, note it incorrectly states she was the wife of C D Dunham. Keep in touch, I have more info on Ursula I would really like to share with you.

Hi Jacob, your the 1st gr grand nephew of Herbert & Elizabeth Downer Reed, & She's my 1st cousin, so I'm not quit sure how we'd be related, but in the same family through marrage. Yes the Downers did have a farm in Clinton Co.

Hi Jacob, Were related !! Elizabeth Downer Reed was my 1st cousin 3X removed, her father was Ziba Alden Downer, There buried at Gunnisonville Cem in Clinton Co.,His brother Stephen West Downer was my 3ed gr grandfather I have him on my Find A Grave, Elizabeth's mother was Lucy Newton Downer, she was a decendant of Rev Thomas Hooker's daughter Mary that married Rev. Re: Herbert Reed
HI Jacob, I'm related to Elizabeth Downer Reed, she married Herbert Reed, but I'm not sure who Hurbert's parents are, there buried at Mt Hope Cem. Elizabeth was born 1870-1947. Do you possibly know who Herbert's father was? J.P. Webb

Hi Jacob,
No we aren't related to the above family. I'm volunteer on a mission with regard to Riverside Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. The photo you described sounds like treasure. You might consider adding it to Find A Grave.

RE: Hazel Call
There are two large cemeteries in the city of Athens. I didn't find her on the lists for either one of them. Of course, it's possible that the people who made those lists missed her. I'll keep an eye out as I'm looking for other names. Since she died in 1934, I wouldn't think she'd have one of those illegible headstones.

The name of the county is also Athens, so I suppose that it's possible that she's buried elsewhere in the county.

You requested transfer of the memorial. Rees is my 2nd Great Grandfather. Is he also a relative of yours?

Please give me details about why a transfer is needed.

Leonard Mitchell stone
You have twice requested a photo of Leonard's stone. I have visited the cemetery twice, and both times I have searched for it. There seems to be no stone if the directory is correct. It states that he and his wife, Florence, are both buried in the same lot. I cannot find any stone with their name on it. Sorry. I keep my eye out for it elsewhere as I search for other stones, and will continue to do so in case the directory is wrong as to the location.
