|sthurner||RE: Harriet Fredendall|
Hello. I see Harriet Fredendall is in the Clinton cemetery. I have not done many memorials there, but I did a few when I was looking for a cousin of mine who is buried there. All my information came from the Rock County Genealogy Society's list of burials. If you use the "request a Photo" button on the page, someone who lives closer than I do may photograph the stone. If you want me to transfer the memorial to you just let me know.

|Brent Bruderer||RE: Bertha Gross (# 40965158) photo(s)|
Hello Anita, That is an original out of the camera picture of the black stone marker in the concrete or granite slab. Same as Gustav Gross nest to her. They look like new replacements for being placed in 1948 or so. It photoshop enhance most of my pictures to make them clearer or sharper but nothing else is added. Thanks, Brent

|Linda Doile Morris||RE: Knight/McLaughlin|
Thank you for finding all this. As it is, it has been very hard to find enough information on all of them since no one had all the names of the ones who died. Had the adults but not names for the children. Altogether there were 28 deaths in just a few days. The stones were put up quite a bit of time later by Daniel C. Knight. I hope you can share what you know. Are you my family?

Are you still doing research on Deer Creek Friends Meeting House burial grounds? We are doing extensive research and revitilization there (under authority), and did not know if you needed any missing information. We recovered several Ely stones earlier this spring. Just let me know.

Transfer not necessary. I was just looking at some unusual spellings of names, this is what I saw:
U.S., Find A Grave Index
Name: Peter Sakowksi
Birth Date: 1897
Death Date: 1975
Cemetery: Saint Stanislaus Roman Catholic Cemetery
Thank you for checking on it.

|Cheryl (Theroux) Whitican||RE: Knight family in Greene Co, OH|
Hi Anita -
Source is transcription records of [Fairview] Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery found in the Greene County Room, Greene County Library, Xenia, OH. These were transcribed in the 1960-1970's.
An online source I use frequently is Greene County's website which includes online links to county indexes - http://www.co.greene.oh.us/index.aspx?NID=948
Here's an example of a link to death records for a James Henry Knight's and Henry A. Knight's death record:
Since a great migration to the newly-opened Northwest territory (includes Ohio) occurred after 1798 with statehood occurring in 1803, you may want to search for this family prior to 1850 in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut. I'd focus on Virginia first. Thousands of families emigrated from Frederick County, VA area to Greene County as they were granted land following service in American Revolution.

I had seen his stone in the Deer Creek Meeting House cemetery. This has been several years ago. There was a house next door to the church/cemetery. The people did not keep the property very clean. They just threw trash all over their yard. Between their house and the church was the cemetery and a set of trees at the end of the cemetery. I went thru the wood of trees and that is where his stone was. It was a much larger stone than the rest. We were going to clean it up a bit but we were afraid of snakes, so couldn't. But I definitely saw the stone there among the trees.

|Irma||Laura/Lura Pratt w/o Elihu Pratt|
Hi Anita-you have a request for a photo of Laura Pratt in the Prospect Hill cem in Essex CT. Well, I made a mistake when I put her in as "Laura", because I was following an inscription book. She is really listed on the gravestone as "Lura", and there is already a photo for Lura, wife of Elihu. So I'll be deleting my listing for "Laura" Pratt. Sorry about that! Irma #46927625

Thanks for updating so fast
