|Mackenzie||Re: Arms Edits|
I was just curious as to what your source was for the dates you suggested for editing on Arthur and Monroe Arms's memorials. It could be the stone, which when I visited was very difficult to read.
I suppose I should say that my grandmother was an Arms, so I have a direct connection to this branch of the family.
I also noticed that you are a member of the Wisconsin River Genealogical and Historical Research Center. I actually have never heard of them, but I would be interesting in joining. My family is originally from the La Crosse and Prairie du Chien. I used to live in La Crosse, but I don't anymore. However I still have a lot to research in that area and my in-laws still live in La Crosse.
I guess what I am saying is it possible to be a member without living in the area? Again since I have strong connection to the area (multiple side of the family being from there), I have a strong genealogical interest in being a member of the group.

Sorry for the delayed response, the message got caught up in the "change processed" emails. I am working off a genweb compiled through the cemetery record.

Thank you. I received the photos from someone else and they were rotated. I put them in an email to send to my mom and on FB and they rotated themselves. Findagrave did not. Very strange. I was just about to rotate them and save them---that was my next step. I might try and do that just to see if it works... Sue

I just attempted to post 2 pictures of Patrick Fagan's gravestone to the page you created for Patrick. They pictures appear rotated, but when i open them on my computer to view them they appear upright.
Now when I tried to upload them on the findagrave page they again appear rotated to the side. I am not finding a tool to rotate them and I'm not sure how to fix this. Do you happen to know how?

Hi, I noticed that you had a Note saying - She was married to HENRY HEIGH until his death in Iowa in 1853, and then married FRANCIS COATES in 1860. Her son DAVID FREMONT HEIGH was born in Iowa in 1851.
I was wondering where you found this information? I am having trouble finding more information on my great, great, great grandfather Henry Heigh and would like to continue his lineage.
Thank you in advance for any help or information you can provide. Sincerely, Elvera

|Cheryl Ayres||Re: Bertie Collins|
Don't know why I typed in Collins, it should be Cook, Dave Thompson site doesn't have a Bertie Dawson & the birth & death is the same as Bertie Cook in the same cemetery which is on his site. Sorry!

Seymore Giddings - Union Hill Cemetery, Crawford Co. birth date given is 10 Jul 1959 In 1880 census he is 18 (c 1862) I realize this was taken from records and not a marker and that records and other reports as well as markers are often wrong. I suspect that the is should be 1859.

Thank you for looking for their graves. Most likely if they had markers they have been lost to the weather and time. Very much appreciate your efforts. I removed the requests since it is unlikely markers are there to be found any longer.

Thank you so much for trying to locate his grave. Since he didn't have any immediate family living nearby, I wonder if he might not have had a stone or maybe it broke and was removed. Thanks again for trying!

Sarah is buried in Mt Pleasant Cemetery, and there is a John H. Thompson, also buried there. Are there headstones close together? Is it possible she is the wife of John H. #69679946

Thank you. I just was not sure if I was allowed to ask. I read the policy that find a grave has. Which was great to read. Helped me a lot on how to get my family together. It was a little hard to follow at first. So I went to the link that says Discussion Forums, and read a lot of stuff on what to do and not to do. So it has helped me a great deal. Again thank you very much.

I am new to find a grave. So I am hoping that I am doing this correct. My brother Gary Faulkner Memorial# 68342246. You took the photo of his headstone and a few other family members. Is it ok if I copy the photo. I was not sure how else to ask.
