I am looking at Henry Hamiter Eleazer 66417554 and Henry H Eleazer 114721295 and have a suspicion that they are one in the same. The birth years are a little different. I know for sure that Henry Hamiter Eleazer was married prior to being married to Sallie Catherine Shealy Eleazer. I do not know the first wife's name, but the math adds up that it could be Elizabeth Nunamaker.
I just wanted to pass on this information to see if you have enough information to verify and consolidate.

Thank you very much for posting photographs of the tombstones of my great uncle Lee Strickland (52380771) and his wife Elizabeth at Mount Hebron Methodist in West Columbia! When I tried to find them, my best graveyarder wasn't with me, and my knees weren't cooperating. This morning I was showing my 92 year old father some of his family and was delighted to discover these photos. I appreciate very much all you do to contribute to this excellent, FREE website.

Thank you very much. I most certainly will transfer to a family member.
It's not my intend to keep memorials, if a family comes forward.
To much information about those that died in Vietnam is being lost and I do attempt to contact family members and friends.

As your obvious ignorance shows, not everyone in SC is an ignorant redneck.

Jensen/Fleury/Sharpe.....I am still awaiting a response from you regarding posting pictures of my father's grave. How did you obtain this picture and where did you get permission to post it??

The only problem I see is that his date of birth has been place in his death date. This page belongs to you and I can't correct it for you.

First, Thank you VERY much for contacting me about this! I had no idea that this happened and am deeply disturbed by it.
Secondly, I am very grateful for the information that this document provided. I am speechless ... horrified at the cruelty but grateful for historical information.
Enough ... Thank you.

|David J West||RE: Frank|
I do have a Frank Sightler in my tree. He was the son of Socrates Marshall Sightler and Emaline Sphaler. All I have is from the Sightler Family Book (Aubrey Marion Sightler, compiler, The Sightler Family, Genealogy of George (Seitler) Sighter and Scraps of Family History (Greenville, Greenville, SC, USA: Self-Published, 1963)).
It says he was born about 1875 and buried in the Old Sightler Cemetery at the head of Savana Hunt Creek near Gaston, Lexington, SC, USA. As I just saw your message today, I haven't compared it to my photos of the Sightler Cemetery I found in Gaston, but I assume it's the same cemetery referred to in the book.
If you have more info about him, I would appreciate anything you can give me.

Looks like you may have stumbled into one of the SC backwaters. Watch out for shotguns when you see rebel flags ... some of our more ignorant rednecks don't value the law. Or rather, they make up their own laws.
Anyway, I guess from another message or your profile that you may not be a native so I wanted to apologize for my fellow SC natives.
Thanks for all your help!

It's been so long since I logged in, I've forgotten as well. However, I saw a more recent message, so I'm excited to read it (must start at the bottom you know ... being a detail oriented person is a curse at times).
I took extensive pictures of the Sightler Cemetery in Gaston, SC. If there's a different cemetery for the Sitelers I can't wait to find it.

I sent a message last night and I see today it is gone! I want to know who you are and what you were doing taking pictures of my father's grave! You did not have permission from the family to do so nor did you gave our permission to post anything about him online. I want to know who you are.

Thank You so very much. The information you sent answered my question. I am trying to find a Eula Wise (maiden name unknown) who was first married to an unknown Campbell and was the second wife of Maxey C. Wise (1891-1953), Memorial# 141824681. I thought this may have been her as the age was about the same.
Again, Thank You ever so kindly,

I am trying to find more information on Eula W. Wise. (Find A Grave Memorial# 36960373) The memorial is managed by "Buddy", However I doubt if he has personal knowledge of her. There was a photo added to the memorial by "Wise". However he/she does not have any contact info on their bio and public messages are turned off. Since you are listed as a "Friend" I thought maybe you had the ability to contact him/her. I realize this is a long shot, but thought it was worth a try. --Thank You, Don

Thanks for your input on the subject memorial. I agree that he likely is living, he could not be a Mason if he died at birth. I will leave the Memorial as he clearly has a marker there.

Hi, thanks for calling that little confused family configuration to my attention. I think I have straightened it out now. Do you want me to transfer management of the Popes to you?

Hi - First, thanks for the followup on the update for Mayo Harmon. Also thanks for the offer to transfer the memorial, however he is not a family member. I follow the Harmon family as they have linked with my family in some areas. Thanks again, Bob.

I am sure you are correct, however, I do not know who their parents are. I will check with my wife's cousin as they are related to my wife and him.

All the best.

I probably check my spam box once a month. And I just did and found dozens of emails from Find A Grave, including your message and a photo success.
I don't know what photos you got so I can't say if you have any of my family. If you want me to make memorials for any photos you have, I would need a list of the names of those people. But for now, I will check who I think I have in that cemetery that has no memorial yet.
Thank you so so much for taking your vacation time and drafting your sister to help you to visit the cemetery and take those photos. I'm glad you found it such a moving experience.
I wish you all the best.

That was so unexpected to see that message on Simon's memorial. Sometimes, I'll ask for a relative's memorial, and I'm ignored, or I'll provide information and it is rejected. So, I don't ask anymore.
Thank you. I am a member and a volunteer. And I appreciate all the people who have made memorials for my relatives so I can find them. Thank you for making these memorials to my Waksbergs.
I wish you the best. And thank you again very much.
