|Steve & Sue||Photo of Gravestone|
I read your bio and saw that you are willing to take photos. I was wondering if you would take a picture of William Preston Bowman's gravestone. He was born 5/2/1883 and died 3/8/1963. He is buried at the Gladesboro Lutheran Church cemetery, 3486 Gladesboro Road. I am sorry to say that I do not know the location of his stone.
I don't know how big this cemetery is. If you would rather not hunt for the stone, I understand.

I was doing some research on my family tree. I was so excited to see your uploads of Della M & James M Reed. It was also exciting to see their child Donald J Reed and his wife Alta O Reed. I'll drop you an email with further info. I'm leaving this message here in case you have changed your email.

|davidrr07||LaPrairie Cemetery request|
I had some doubts about whether I have the correct Gregory Gonya, the year on the stone could be 1903 or 1808. I also checked the Hayes Presidential Center Library obit index.
Basic information for person:
Last Name: GONYA
First Name: GREGORY
Age at Time of Death: 78
City of Death: RICE TWP
State of Death: OH
Month of Death: 10
Day of Death: 18
Year of Death: 1903
I can't read the month on the stone, the 18 is a match but I can't say it's definitely the right person. I'll be happy to delete the photos and look again if you don't think they belong here.

I found Gregory Gonya's marker but was unable to find his wife Elizabeth. Do you know when she died? There is no "Elizabeth Gonya" listed on the cemetery sign but there is an Elizabeth M Wagner (d 1873) who already has a photo (Find A Grave Memorial# 44164053). Is it possible that Elizabeth Gonya remarried or is buried somewhere else?
I see that there is another stone imbedded in the ground at the base of Gregory Gonya's marker. I don't know if it has any significance. It is frozen in the ground and I'm unwilling to do any major excavating or possible damage. Maybe when the ground thaws...

Also, I got the request for Gregory Gonya & Elisabeth Wagner. I have a photo of an Elizabeth M. Wagner's headstone Find A Grave Memorial# 44164053
If this is his wife..I was unable to read his headstone because I took a photo of every single one there and came home and tried my best to read the names..but a lot are in bad shape and difficult to read. I would be willing to go back and try to find the one closes to Elizabeth and see if I can make out his name and take another picture if so. please let me know if this is his wife or another Elizabeth?! Thanks

Thanks for the transfers Lori. Most (maybe all) of the Whitaker names at St. Pauls Church of the Brethren are related to me, not directly, but they go back to the same common ancestors.

I was able to fill your request for Peter Wagner. I noticed you asked for any other Wagner headstones found in the La Prairie Cemetery...Well, I found a few more but the last name spelling is different (probably changed over the yrs, as often happens)I will go through the pictures I took and let you know who exactly I have as soon as I get a chance.

|Elizabeth H. Thompson||RE: Reeds in Nebraska|
Sorry - I tried to take a picture of it, but it was very worn (and in the shade) so nothing on the photo was legible and it looks like I erased it. I couldn't make out the first name, but it was much too short to have been Seymour and may just have been initials. It was actually on the back side of Dora's monument. Of the other two sides, one was blank and the other just had the family name. I do have a picture of that side; I'll upload it.

|Elizabeth H. Thompson||Reeds in Nebraska|
I have added a photo of Dora Reed from the cemetery in Weeping Water, Nebraska. The date is actually 13 May 1885, vice 18 May 1855, for what it's worth. Unfortunately, we couldn't find Seymour anywhere in the cemetery. There is another Reed memorial on the opposite side of Dora's. The first name is unreadable and it was too worn for a photo, but the death year is 1877 and there is an age of 64 years given.
I hope that helps!
