RE: Robert Fletcher
There is a guy who controls most of the memorials there. Because this Web site has no rules on documentation standards, I may--and have in the past--received a nasty post that he is not in the records or cannot be found and to be sure to submit my documentation next time and remove him from the burial site in the meantime. There are people out there like that.

Go down to author Paul Coulombe, who has also posted on my profile. Is that response nice? Matter of fact, it is not accurate either because I am right and found the LOCAL records to support the relationships he questioned. Because he wrote genealogy book(s) on this family in North America, he is very possessive of the Coulombe surname, of all things, and probably angry I put out something for free and is trying to discredit it. Google him and he gives out information to people at $5 a line. I can understand that to certain point because he wants people to buy his book but I did not take anything out of his book and should be able to post my family's genealogy without the nastiness.

It all comes down to possession: memorials, a book, an online cemetery. So yes, people can be nasty on this site. Fortunately it is few, and have found them responsive at "contact us" on this site if I wish to amend a memorial and the "owner" refuses to cooperate.

I too am a direct descendant.

I never placed him in Forefathers because I have had difficulties with a local or locals who are very protective of who gets listed there. I have placed him there--for now. I anticipate either no response or a nasty one.

Hi Laura,
Sorry That I didn't get back to you sooner.
Please hold on to the pictures of stones or put them on the site.
Was ill in November and had heart surgery, rehab, and went to Florida, to stay with family while recouping.
Did not have computer. It went haywire just before I left.
Son bought me a new one and printer. Now have to learn how use these. Hope to get back to on Find A Grave by mid May.
Happy FAGING.

Jean

I'm not sure why you contacted me regarding the Red Schoolhouse Cemetery, I didn't set up the cemetery for findagrave.com. The Town of Farmington shows the cemetery on their tax maps, Map R-4, Lot 1A.

Thank you for your information. Do you have a source for that different birth date and location, because it is different from the sources I used, and I would like to also cite your source. I will also attribute the information as coming from you if you would like.

Doris Lovely Memorial
The Evergreen Cemetery Office at 207-797-4597, holds the grave locations for the Forest City Cemetery. Please call them, then post the section, plot number, and grave location on Doris' Memorial. As soon as you let me know that it has been added, I will try and get a photo. Becky

Hi Laurie,

Back in May when I did your request there was a memorial in there so I put the pictures on that one. I did notice there was a duplicate memorial for him, and a request. Someone had already opened a memorial for him last December.
I thought you had already seen the pictures. When I finally found him back in May the stone was already there. Take a look on the other memorial, I don't know who that person is that opened it back in December.

All the Best, Roberta

RE: Dorothy Wing
You can't. The MEMORIALS ADDED means what you originally added yourself. When I transferred management to you of Dorothy then it shows up on those you manage rather you started them or not.
I have about 22 more on my managed sites since 22 memorials were transferred to me. They no longer have control of those sites, just like I do not have control over Dorothy's site anymore.

Hi Laurie,

One slight problem. I have Dorothy connected to her parents and it would be a lot easier to delete yours and then I could give my memorial for you to manage.

RE: Kenneth Small
Hi Laurie,

I was just wondering if he was in a family plot with another name. He was only 35 when he passed, was he married or a veteran? Sometimes there is a family monument with another name and the marker or brass plate has the person's name.
I noticed most of the stones in Valley cemetery are monuments with the plates in front; but, there could be a few with just plates. I will go a little earlier next week just in case I can catch a cemetery person. He will be found, it's kind of a little mystery.

All the Best, Roberta

Hi Laurie,

I visited Valley Cemetery today and didn't find
Kenneth; but, I walked about half the cemetery before it started raining bad. That's all we have been getting in the last week. The cemetery isn't marked with sections or lot numbers; but, I checked a good half of it. I get down there once a week and I will check next week around the same day or so. He will be found, I promise. It is not a really big cemetery, a little bigger than Highland.

All the Best, Roberta

Hi Laurie, I have located the cemetery and I have gone past there many times. I would be glad to take the picture. I usually get down that way once a week so I should be able to get there this week.

All the Best, Roberta

Hi Laurie,

I went to Highland Cemetery in Lyme, NH to fill your request for Kenneth Small 1943 - 1978. I couldn't find the grave; but, the caretaker just happened to be there and looked in the records and claimed he is not in this cemetery. I thought that was odd. The caretaker has worked there since 1990, so he thought maybe the name wasn't on the stone; but, there is no record of the burial. Could he be somewhere else?

So sorry, Roberta
