RE: Jacksonville Cemeteries
Is there any way you could e-mail me a copy?
I haven't been adding plots, because of the new listings.

Jacksonville Cemeteries
I hope you are right on the plots. I am concerned about using the new listing for the cemeteries that the city has put on. They have mistakes. The city really needs to take them off and put the old ones back up at least until they double check their new listings.

thank you
Thank you for posting the picture of my great grandmother's (Mary L. Madden's headstone)! I appreciate it very much and would be glad to be responsible for it from here out if you wouldn't mind.
Sincerely, Tary Medberry

Yeah, I would have posted what was visible from all sides of the memorial. Eudora must be in an unmarked, damaged or illegible grave nearby, if she isn't to be found.

I deleted the duplicate. I noticed it earlier, sent you corrections, put the pictures on your memorial, and then promptly forgot to delete it! I think old age is creeping in!

Transfer of Alto Sasnett
Thank you very much for fulfilling my transfer request on Find A Grave. I appreciate your efforts in establishing the memorial originally and also your generosity in sharing memorials you are not particularly interested in. It also inspires me to reciprocate in kind when similar requests are made of me. Thanks again, Joe Sasnett

Looks like it is okay with Find A Grave to post death certificates, this being over 50 yrs old. But, if for any reason you do not want it on your memorial, please let me know and I will be happy to delete.

Sending you an email with the death certificate attached. It does state body removal from south Florida to Pensacola for burial at St. Michael's Cemetery.

RE: Marques photos in St. Michael's

I just looked at the pics and I don't see any way of copying them.

You have added so many records to St. Michaels - its amazing the amount of work you have put into the cemetery!! Thank you for all the work you have done!!

RE: Marques photos in St. Michael's

Just now catching up on F.A.G. messages...

I have deleted the photos I had taken in St. Michael's - I didn't think I would need them anymore (wrong!)

So I don't have them to post. Is there anyway I can copy them on Find A Grave and then post them on the other memorials?

I'll try to see if copying them will work.

Thanks! Linda D.

RE: Philip Touart #109821497
Thanks for finding the discrepancy!

I deleted most of my Find-A-Grave photos (didn't think I would ever need them again!)
The photos of Philip Touart are deleted - so if you could please contact F.A.G. to merge the two memorials!

St. Michael's is something like 76% photographed - Wow!

I haven't been photographing in St. Michael's or St. John's for awhile - I was getting bit by red ants - maybe later in the winter I will try again!

Thanks, Linda D.

RE: William Martin Camp
You have good information, thank you. William Johnson being his step-father, I believe. There may not be a marker, but I do believe he is buried there based on your info. I am writing for his death certificate today. Will let you know if it adds additional information re burial. He is a 2nd cousin, once removed, so somewhat distant, but I like to verify info. He lead a pretty interesting life, proprietor of the Palace Saloon in Pensacola, he got himself in trouble re gambling at the business, but was pardoned after he had many character witnesses speak for him. Just interesting history.

Here was reply from Find A Grave:
We are writing to let you know that a Find A Grave volunteer has reported a problem with your photo request for William Camp.

The general problem they reported is:
Cemetery office has no record of this person

They also reported, specifically:
There is only one person with the surname Camp buried in St Michael's Cemetery - Laura Scott Camp, the WIFE of Willie Camp (1871-1957). See more at:

Due to this problem, we believe that this photo request can not be fulfilled. As a result, we are removing it. If you can fix the problems that were reported and believe a photo can be acquired, please feel free to make a new request.

Find A Grave Memorial# 106672948. I requested a headstone photo, but received a message back that the cemetery stated there was only one Camp buried in St. Michael's (his wife Laura Scott Camp).

I do think he is buried there, did you find some evidence of his burial when you posted it to findagrave?

I plan to send off for his death certificate to see what info it might provide.

Thank you

Patrick Collins - 1901 Obit.
Thank you so very, very much for finding and uploading the newspaper article on Pat(rick) Collins (1901-06-19). He was my great-great grandfather, and all I had heard was he had been a pearl diver and that he may have died of the bends. Thanks, again, for supplying some documentation re: his passing.

Jean, I meant to tell you that Wilburn was cremated so he wasn't in there and Julia is in a cemetery in De Leon Springs, Fla. named Pinehurst Cemetery. She married Emory E. Yelvington and had no children. Thanks

Thank you so much Jean. I am so new I still don't understand everything. I am the historian in our family and think it is so important for the kids of the future to be able to find info on anyone in their family. You have been a great help as I didn't know about that button. Thanks again! Linda
