Gladys Bummer photo request.
Hello, Debra. When you called for the location, did they tell you her grave is unmarked? If not, I am surprised, because they should have told you. If the location is correct, D Plot, lot 1717, I found the location without too much difficulty because there are number plugs in the area. There is a remote possibility that there is a marker and it is covered by the sod, but if so, it is very deep because I poked around for it but could not feel anything.

I suggest you call the office again and ask if there is supposed to be a marker and if so, please let me know and I will fill out a work order and have it uncovered.

Best regards,

I don't know if this would be of any interest to you, but I recall seeing requests for (2) Baby Bummers at Calvary Cemetery. I looked their death certificates and I believe they were stillborn twins of Raymond Bummer and his first spouse Gladys.
According to the California death index for 1926, the twins were stillborn on July 27, 1926. Gladys died a few days later Aug. 1, 1926. Gladys is buried at Inglewood Cemetery.

RE: Victoria M Bummer & Raymond A Bummer

I would have cleaned up and made it look better but there was a funeral in progress nearby, so I didn't want to make noise with my weed whacker. But I go by there very often, so when I have a little extra time I'll make it look much nicer!

You are welcome. It's my pleasure, and small way to remember those young men who died in the service of our country.

You are so welcome on the work I did on the Cotton family. My passion is family links and I've been dedicated to connecting Waller County family links since 2008. My searches take me to many different counties along the way. Happy you are feeling better. WELCOME BACK!!

Thank you for letting me know that Hollie has living descendants. I'm glad to know that. I've taken many grave marker photos, but hers has always been a memorable one for me.

I see that your family has some roots in Bremond Tx. My Czech-Polish mother was born in Bremond , in 1909, then moved to Marlin. Bet our grand or great-grandparents knew each other.

HI. If you will obtain the location from the Westheimer location, I will make a special trip. It is actually much closer than the Lawndale cemetery.

Nellie Huffman Vandiver
Dear Debra - I have linked this memorial to that of her father. I was unable to find her mother's burial place. If you happen to know where she is buried, I will be happy to link that as well.

Nellie was married to my grandfather's oldest brother, Montezuma Ariola at one time. Her son, Floyd B. Ariola, is my first cousin, once removed.

RE: H/S request for Towler in Pearsall, Texas.
I will not claim your request for p/r just in case someone will claim and go to see if they can find. I took hundreds of headstone photos of Pearsall Cem. I just have not gotten around to add them. Let me look thru and see I have Towler already.
