RE: Isaac Henry York, #138657610
Thanks Pat your contact.

Isaac Henry York is a 4th Great Grandfather of mine. The other creator is Tammy York Orman who has fraudulently claimed kin to the Jeremiah York descendants of whom Isaac Henry York is a descendant. I have had numerous email contacts with Tammy who is very uncooperative, rude, argumentative and refuses to make corrections to her many errors. Read the negative attitude on her Bio. She often goes off line for long periods of time and frequently refuses to answer or accept any edits.

Tammy apparently is more interested in just posting tombstone photos with minimum bios with too few correct relationships. Most often she posts incorrect data she apparently acquires from the internet unverified. According to YDNA testing she is from an entirely different genetic York family. Her York family is from the Baltimore Maryland in 1660. Tammy has no connection with the Jeremiah York family all the way back to England. So to progress with his multiple families I have had to create an accurate Find A Grave memorial for Isaac Henry York to properly honor him.

RE: Hepsibah Hirst Branch #24389368
Hi David and Pat,

You suggested that Hepsibah Hirst Branch has different parents than who she is linked to. Please let the person who entered Hepsibah memorial know to change it because all parent links are made through the childs memorial, not through the parents. I believe Kathryn Gebczyk made Hepsibah memorial.

Thank you,
Rhonda

Ellis and wives transferred. The printer at the library was not working when I was there and therefore no copy of Ellis' obit. If you really want one, go to Elkhart (IN) Public Library obituary data base. They will mail you one for a small charge. AS I said the obit doesn't amount to much - and is typical of an obit done by a second (or 3rd wife ?) who doesn't have accurate history of the husband.

Pat,
I had chance to look up Ellis Hughes' obit today. Only a paragraph long and with discrepancies from my entry. Obit says he was born WVA and only came to Elkhart County area about 1883. My data ( of an unknown source) has him born in Elkhart County - and he served in an Indiana Inf. Reg. during the Civil war. Obit goes on to say he died at 82 (about correct) and was survived by a wife (no name given) and by a son Isaac presently living in Iowa (in 1923).

This is a random Find A Grave entry for me, not family, and I have no interest in trying to sort out the obit and your data with what has been put into his memorial in Find A Grave to date. So --- if you wish I will gladly turn over management of his memorial to you or we can both just let it ride as is.

Hi Pat,
Thanks so much for the information for the children of Claiborne and Nancy.
I have put it on Claiborne's memorial page and transferred both him and Nancy to you. They aren't related to me, at all.
To get them properly added, and edit needs to be sent to each child's memorial page owner, with the numbers for each parents memorial, but you probably know that.
Thanks, also for the kind words, and for your work in research. Is sure to help someone to find their relations.
Patty

Pat,

Thank you for catching that error. I had John's mother correct in my files, but erred in the linking.

It has been corrected.

Percival Jones
Thank you for posting all this info. Percival Jones is my great grandfather. In reading your posts I read about Solonus Beverage's parents, John Beverage and Nancy Dowler who are also my great grandparents. My grandmother is Flora Bird Beverage Jones of New Marshfield. Does anyone have any info or pictures?

RE: Adkison's in Buckeye Cemetery
I've transferred all the Adkisons I created to you. All were in Buckeye Cemetery and one in Oak Grove at Hillsboro.

My great-grandmother was Mary Lena May Beverage the daughter of Jacob Mathew Beverage (1845-1920) and Rachel Ann McLaughlin. Jacob's father was also named Jacob (1811-1873) and his father was David Beverage (1787-1818) who was married to Ann Elizabeth Catherine Shinaberry. David's father was John Beverage, but that's all the information that I have.

I think we split at David Beverage from what I can tell from my records.

RE: Mary Ruth Bowers
Pat: What cemetery are we talking about for Mary K. Bowers and Eva Gum? In regards to Mary Ruth Gum It was a duplicate so I deleted mine and forwarded your information to Martha Neighbors she has the other one. : ) I corrected the one in the Duffield cemetery. Thanks for letting me know. judykay

Your entry to me.........Mary Ruth Bowers
I have been working on a family history project for a friend and found your entry in Find A Grave. This individual has been entered incorrectly. She is Mary Ruth Gum, a sister of Eva Gum, who married Lawrence Kennison. She was never married. Can you please correct this entry. The Mary K. Bowers is the one who is the daughter of Lawrence and Eva Kennison and is married to William Raymond Bowers. Are you close enough to get pictures of the tombstones? Would appreciate having them to send to my friend.

Also, in the Duffield Cemetery, you have entered information for a Virginia Gay as being a daughter of William Gay. She is the daughter of Robert Gay.

Thank you,

Pat Gardner

RE: Harvey Bingham, redux
Now we're both confused. In my own defense, I've processed over 6,000 request for changes, photos, links, etc in the last five months and my mind is a little mush.
Earlier in the winter I was trying to link the Bingham's of Sugar Grove (where I live) with the Linney's of Taylorsville. I also listed on Find A Grave the Mast-Bingham cemetery, which is located above the Bingham house.
Let me look some of this over. I still have a backlog of over 500 emails, most are now mine requesting changes from other people.
I'll get back with you.

Pat,
I'm not sure what your note means about Harvey Bingham. I didn't enter the memorial or take the pictues. I have mostly focused on the Mast-Bingham cemetery in Sugar Grove and a few in the Boone City Cemetery.
