RE: Jennie Julie Thompson #93717052
"Assumptions" always get me into trouble (hence having siblings married to one another). I have several other questions ... there is an Adaline Thompson interred in this same Mausoleum. Perhaps we should start a discussion via private email, so I ask that you contact me directly at atfarley@att.net to go forward, if you would? Thanks, A

Hi. I added some information to the memorial after I received your note. I believe I got the middle initial from the marker - but, as always, I could have erred. If you request a photo of the marker, it may help resolve the issue. Let me know and I will be happy to make the change. Thanks for your help.

RE: Additional comment about John Jonas
Yes, that's how I came across your listing. I have entries from the village of Wiesloch in Baden Wurttemburg of their emigration, along with a son Michael (born 1845). They seemed to have left the same time as my great-great grandparents, Ignatz and Angelika Jonas Benz, along with Angelika's brother Daniel Jonas. There was also a Franz Jonas and a Kunigunde Benz who left at the same time. The others arrived in NY in July of that year, but Victor, Eva Maria and Michael were not on the same ship. Thanks for your input.

Jonas Family
I see you posted a photo of a John Jonas buried in North Northfield Cemetery. Are you related to him? I came across his parents names from the German emigration records this morning leaving the German village of Wiesloch in 1846 along with my great-great grandmother Angelica Jonas Benz(later Bens), her brother Daniel and a Franz Jonas. My great-great grandparents and Daniel settled in the Cincinnati area. I just came across Franz's name last week looking at their arrival in New York in 1846.

Barbara, Thanks for letting me know. I must have been linking people in the middle of the night and went to sleep on that one! Thanks again.

I have added the links and other information as you requested, except:

There are is a New Castle in 3 different counties in Pennsylvania, so if you know in which county John Dean Jones was born, please send an "edit" request (top right button on the memorial) and I can "accept" it.

I can't link parents to their children unless the child's memorial is one I created. I have sent in an edit request for Ayleen's memorial, asking that person to link her to her parents.

Thank you for all the added information.

RE: Corp Asa Pennington
Can't help clarify Asa Pennington's information as it is from other people's information, but I lean towards the information from the Lawrence County Historical Society.

Some of our written info may need corrections... Mom helps me quite often when I need answers... To be sure, we have lost contact with many of our cousins, etc... Mother was very fond of her Uncle Francis and was close to their daughter Neoma (as spelled in the census)... She called her Naomi- not sure of the correct spelling...

William Stever
Barb, I just noticed one of your memorials is William Stever, I've been photographing all the headstones in that cemetery (Platte Township) I just recently was back there photographing more and downloading them into that cemetery but not finished yet. I will try to locate his headstone if I don't already have a photo of it.
p.s. I have Stever in my distant family tree...George F. Stever born 1894 Michigan, married Jennie Royle/Royale June 2, 1915 in Hart, Oceana Co., Michigan. Jennie was born 1895 Mich. Jennie's parents were Frederick N. Royle and Florence M. Keech. If there is any connection with them for you I'd be glad to share my family file on them. Sharon

RE: Earnest Drow #556333676
Hi Barb, glad to help with family research. I'd love to hear from you and also would be glad to add more info if you find anything. I've been researching and saving Leelanau Co's histories and their families names for over 10 years. I record and keep them in files to reference or add to when ever I can...so it is an ongoing project. I live in Leelanau Co. I'm not related to the Drow's but my daughter's baby sitter when she was little was Barbara Drow and we were friends, she is such an awesome person, so nice and her family, good people...I haven't seen her for a long time, miss our conversations.
If I find more on this family I will send it to you. Sharon Cartwright Baatz

Barbara, so nice of you to provide all this additional information to Earnest Drow's memorial. I added what you provided plus went to his parent's and wife's memorials and added that info plus connected them. If you are related and want me to transfer that wouldn't be a problem. When i have more time i was going to check out census records to add a little more history to this families memorials, thanks again, Sharon

RE: Philomena Martin Brow #95417809
Hello Barbara,

I added the family link for Ambrose and Philomena Brow. The system won't allow me to add family links for their kids. My wife is a descendent from Noah Brow (1861-1945), then to Lucy Brow (1891-1987).

Robert

Hi Barbara, I transferred management to you as I am no relation. I corrected her name but did not add info on her husband.
:)
