RE: Rhoda Estelle Field
Yes, you twist and turn. But what I would now be interested in is how Mary Bryan Stone Field is related to Richard Warren. You state that Richard was one of Mary's ancestors. I don't have that at all. Would he be a direct ancestor or more twisting and turning? I thought I had all of Mary Stone's ancestors accounted for:
Parents: Joseph Frederick Stone & Grace Fowler
Grandparents: Joseph Stone & Sarah Beach and Abraham Fowler & Lois Fowler
Great-Grandparents: Joseph Stone & Eleanor Beach and Samuel Beach & Mary Nettleton and Abraham Fowler & Elizabeth Bartlett and Timothy Fowler & Anne Collins.
I have another generation back, but doesn't include a surname of Warren of any name. If Richard Warren isn't a direct ancestor, then I guess I really wouldn't say that you are related to my mother. But if you would like to honor her with a flower due to some twist/turn connection, that is fine with me. Enjoy your genealogy...you obviously enjoy how you do it.

RE: Rhoda Estelle Field
Not a problem having the flower, was really just curious. I think all persons with relatives back in CT. or MA. in the 1600's are related in some manner. Thanks for taking the time to answer my curiosity.

RE: Rhoda Estelle Moore
Are you sure you have the right Rhoda? My mother was an only child and her maiden name was Field and she married 1st to my father, Harvey Garland Druin. I truly would need more information to confirm what you are telling me about the Blackstone family...would this be through the Moore line rather than through the Field or Druin line? I have been doing my mother's genealogy for over 45 years and have never run into the Blackstones. Please send more info as I would be most interested in this. Diane (send by email: dggravlee@gmail.com)

Wondering why you left a flower on my mother's memorial? Did you know of her? She is well remembered by two daughters and 8 grandchildren.

RE: Mary Ann Blackstone
Mary Ann Blackstone Tinker Is my 2xgreat grandmother on my father's side. I have her father, Ebeneezer Blackstone dying in 1824. I have Ebeneezer's y o d as 1824 and Hiram's DOB as 1820. I also have 2 more children (twins) born to Ebeneezer and his wife in 1822. Not sure if all of this is accurate, but these are my clues so far. And a lot of trees as well as find a grave have second Ebeneezer as this Ebeneezer's brother. Why would parents name two sibs with the same name born only a few years apart? Both lived well into adulthood evidently so naming another child with the same name because the first sib so named died does not seem to explain this one.

Sarah E. Steen
Kate, I noted your post on Sarah E. Steen in Oak Grove Cemetery in Washington County, OH. I have tried to contact the person who posted the information for her and they are no longer accepting messages via Findagrave. There are some serious errors in this posting from what I can determine.

Sarah E. Steen may have been a Clemons but she was not the daughter of William Templer Clemons of my files. Sarah Emily Clemons, d/o of William Templer Clemons married Elza Sheely (also shown as Sheley) and she died in Iowa in 1883. They had several children.

From what I can see, there are children listed that are children of William Templer Clemons but there are at least two that are from other Clemons families.

If you know the person who posted this data, you might want to pass this information on to them. I would be happy to answer any questions they have if they contact me at chartemp@aol.com

Best wishes,
Charles Templer

Ebeneezer Blackstone
Want to compare notes about this common ancestor? I found a lot of tidbits about his time in Ohio, but I show Dante of death as 1824. This line in my family going up his line has a lot of blanks. He was my third great grandfather on my father's side. Interestingly enough, I have a Blackstone line on my mother's side also.

Dalbey Stones
If you are familiar with Google Maps, Search for 108 S. Warren Avenue, Malvern, PA. Go to Earth View and Street level. Turn the view to see the graveyard. You will be half way between the two churches. There are two dark stones, Baldwin and Ford. A couple of rows behind the Baldwin stone are three dark stones in line. If you zoom in to the limit, you can just make out the "D" at the top of each.

After you take a look at that, Go back to the map view and search for "High Aswan Dam". Zoom out to about "1 mile = 1 inch'( lower right of screen). The patterns that the water makes on the shore of Lake Nasser strongly resemble patterns called Fractals. If you follow the Nile upstream for miles, these fractal patterns get better and better.

Then you might like the street level view of the Taj Mahal or the Pyramids of Giza. St. Peter's Square in Vatican City is nice. The Onion Spires of St. Basil's in Red Square, Moscow, Russia are quite nice too. These are but a small part of the vast array of things to look at. Hope you take and enjoy the tour.

RE: Rev. William W. Dalbey
You're Welcome, You're Welcome, You're Welcome. Just sorry I could not locate Minnie's stone. Looking at the style of all three that I did find, is it possible that Minnie, who was the last to go, provided all three stones at the same time but did not provide one for herself? I should try to contact the Malvern Baptist Church to see if Minnie's name was on the records of the other three. I live less than 3 miles way.

On another note, you created all 4 memorials from the Malvern Baptist Church on my 70th Birthday.
