RE: Dupree
It looks like we may be related. My 3rd great grandfather was John R. Dupree 1824-1850, son of John Deupree 1786-1838. The elder John Deupree was the brother of Drury Deupree, father of William Daniel Dupree, and grandfather of William Hymond Dupree. Drury is also buried at Mt. Zion in Meriwether County.

RE: J W Black
Tom, the information for J. W. Black came from church records from "Minutes of Mt. Zion Baptist Church". Several ladies surveyed the cemetery in 1997 and the death record for Mr. Black is the only time he's mentioned in the book. They're showing that H.H. Baughan is buried in site 2-39. Sites 2-38 and 2-40 are shown as unmarked sites. Mr. Black is in site 2-42. The Dupree family, who is related to me, is buried between the two men and also staring with site 2-43. I would think that given the proximity of the two men's graves, that this is the person you're looking for.

RE: Lasseter
I wasn't too certain of that, but I looked through all the tombstones, the Lasseters were all in that area, and that was the only Elisha.

RE: J W Black
Tom,
I wish I could help, but I was there to check out the Longino family. I always try to photograph other markers when I am in a cemetery. He was the only Black I saw and there were no markers nearby that he might have been associated with.

Well that settles that for sure. I do appreciate the research you did. Maybe his leg was withered from the war?

Clarence Black
I noticed you posted a family photo on his memorial. I am looking for a Clarence O. Black that was in WWI as I have a photo of him in his uniform and according to age, this Clarence black is the only one on Find A Grave that would be close to him. The photo sure looks is if it could be him but it is hard to say for sure as the photo is not that easy to see. Any info would be appreciated.

I recently sent edits for Ruby Lee Austin FAGrave #85090926 which you accepted. My apologies, but I had the incorrect person. I've sent in edits to remove the parents and maiden name I had previously submitted.
Thank you.

Tom: Thanks for your great research regarding the correct location of Foy's grave. I have decided to leave Foy's memorial where it is with the marker where his name is but I have added a note explaining where he is actually buried. The note contains an acknowledgement of your fine research.

Tom:
My previous message may have been unclear. Thelma is buried at Restwood Memorial Park in Clute, Texas. I have submitted a photo request for that cemetery. Can you take a photo of Thelma's grave there?
Many thanks,

Tom:
Thank you for sending Thelma's death certificate. It says that Thelma was removed from the Galveston hospital to Freeport Cemetery but there is no such place. I made a call and found that she is in the same cemetery as her son and former husband. I have posted a photo request. I hope that you can do this one too.

Thanks for all of your help.

Tom:
Thanks so much again for all of your help. Please process the relationship links requests which I requested between Foy Woodward Jr. and his parents Foy Woodward Sr. and Laura Joyce Woodward and also between Foy Woodward Sr. and his parents Anson Hudson Woodward and Beulah Mae Woodward or if it is more convenient you could transfer Foy Sr., Foy Jr. and Laura Joyce Woodward to me.
Many thanks,
Eric Baker

Hello:
I see you have claimed a photo request for this cemetery. I have just posted two photo requests for the same place for two Woodward photos. If you go there soon can you take my photos as well?
Thanks, Eric Baker
