May I use a copy of his grave photo for the non-profit Supporting Heroes, Inc.? This group pays tribute to those emergency first-responders who have died in the line of duty. I will give you acknowledgement. Let me know.Thanks!

You are very welcome. Actually my cousin, Carolyn, who lives in Green Co is the one who took this picture. We are working together to put up GC cemeteries.

|cryptkeeper||Pheobe Bryant Headstone|
Thank you very much for getting the great photo of Pheobe's headstone. I found out that James doesn't have a headstone, he is buried in an unmarked grave next to Pheobe.

I haven't had a call back yet but I'll try emailing about a visit to their cemetery.

Unfortunately Western State Hospital is like Eastern & Central State Hospital, few if any markers remain. If you want I could look up the death certificate and call the hospital if you want. From what I can tell there was no record of death for a Josephine in Christian County.

At the library they have book by year of all deaths, but they do not tell you where the grave is. they also have some books of early walk-thrus of all the graves, they are in a cabinet and listed by cemetery. You need to go to the genology section in rear of library. Still its a matter of lots of walking
