|Linda Anthony||William Waters|
Thank you so much for the photo of William's headstone. I believe he was my husbands 2nd great grandfather. Can you tell me, is the pink coloring a fungus or something actually on the stone? Also, can you clarify the inscription at all? It looks to me like 1849 to 1873, aged 23 years. Interesting that this contradicts the information on the memorial page. I really appreciate your efforts and any answer you can help me with. Thank you so much! Linda

|M. Brownson||Stallings in Callahan|
Hi Sheila Wiseman,
I find two listings for Willis Stallings 85204036
one in Callahan Cemetery and one in Stallings Cemetery. Were the stones from Stallings moved to Callahan? Google maps show they're very close.
Thanks for your help.

Your Margaret Elizabeth Schuessler Keil had a brother John A who married Emiline Lienau of Posey Co and connects with the Riecken family of Posey Co if you follow my site on Ancestry.com
You can access Ancestry free at the Willard Library in Evansville or perhaps in Boonville. My wife and I are both from German Twp but now we live in FT Wayne.

Do you have access to Ancestry.com? If so check out Conrad Schuessler in my site Schmidt/Henze.
My dates for Conrad and Margaret are completely different that yours. My Great Grandmother was Margaret Schuessler the sister of Conrad.
I show Conrad born in Detter Germany 7 Dec 1823 and died in German Twp 5 Oct 1893. His father Johannes Schuessler is buried at St Pauls FG #64744800.
Born 29 Oct 1792 and died German Twp 4 Sep 1870.
Johannes's daughter, Margaretha was born in Detter 10 Jan 1837 and died 5 Apr 1911 and buried with her husband Frederick Roeder at St Pauls. This is my line Cornelius Roeder to Eloise Roeder
My records show Conrad married Margaret his wife in Detter on 4 Dec 1855 and came to the US in 1856. His wife Anna Margaretha was also born in Detter on 26 May 1834 and died 15 Aug 1898 in Vanderburgh Co.
Therefore my records are different than your records for Conrad and wife Anna Margaret. I did not know that either were buried in the Liberty Cemetery in Cythiana but it makes sense.

No relationship. I just work to connect families who are buried at St Paul's United Church of Christ Evansville and their relatives. I do know members of the Keil family -Clarence Keil, a grandson who married Ivy Sturm
