Itís too bad you didnít know my mother a few years before when she had all her faculties.
It was always amazed by how many people knew my mother and had such a high opinion of her.
She genuinely seemed to care about everyone she knew and she seemed to know everybody.
Thank you for transferring my parents over to me.

If you are related I will gladly transfer management of Viola's memorial to you - I am not related. I am related to only a very few of the Michigan memorials I've created - I just photograph the local cemeteries when able. Let me know

No-I know Aunt Esther is still living.
I didn't originally create the memorial. Just ask to maintain it. I've uploaded some info and photo's of the two if your interested.

Any picture is better than non. I appreciate it. Did it say anything special on it? Or just name and date?

Thank You for your very kind words. Tell your grandmother that it was my pleasure to remember the "Lost Little Angels". Tell her if it were not for my research, all these more than 2000 children would be lost to time and forgotten. Now at least, they're out there for the world to see and think about and be remembered. My Indian beliefs are, "That as long as one person speaks your name, you are not forgotten". So guess what, John & Leonard, two lost boys now have two different generations thinking about them, so they are not forgotten. Tell your grandmother that this brings great joy to my heart and made all those long hours of doing the research worth while. Again, Thank You. Sincerely, Robert Miller

Thank you for the history of two of my "Lost Little Angels' it helps to validate my years of hard work. John & Leonard are only 2 of thousands of lost children and adults that I learned were not accounted for(no tombstone) in my local cemeteries. My research is now in it's 13th year and I'm still working on it for people like you. I went into my research books and found this other info on the boys. John died on the 14th of August 1920 and was buried on Aug 15th. His parents live on West Cherry Street here in Mount Carmel. Leonard died on the 12th of April 1924 and buried on April 14th. His parents must have moved after John's death because they live at 319 West 2nd Street in town here when Leonard dies. I have corrected the dates on their memorial. Thank you again for contacting me and telling me their story. Sincerely, Robert Miller.
