Theresa, I can't thank you enough for the photo request that you fulfilled. I never thought that anybody would ever get around to taking on this request.

I don't know if your aware of it or not, but when you added the photo, it went in 3 times on his memorial. All I need is one grave photo (please). :>))

Thank you once again for your time, travels, and the great photo. Its volunteers like you that make Find A Grave work.

Thank you and be safe!

Theresa Gabel: Thank you for all the efforts time and expenses in locating the above headstone. She was my mothers aunt or my grandfathers sister. I remember aunt Matt very well. She had a '36 or '37 black Ford sedan and when she was driving she could just see over the steering wheel. After uncle Ted [her husband] past away she often came to our house on Friday evening for supper. Mom could not fry anything for her because she could not eat fried foods. Again I want to thank you for the photo of her headstone. Sincerely, John E. Baker Jr.

Is Walnut Hill Cemetery a large cemetery? Seems to be very lovely. Thank you for all the time you have spent in finding these headstones. You have done a lovely job. Linda

Thank you for this stone shot. Pretty soon you will feel you are part of the family. I wonder if there are any relatives left around there who are part of the Nicklas/Daenzer/Rauth family.

Who did you find on the back of her parents stone?

Waler Rauth
Can you remember what the dates on the stone for Walter? They are really hard to make out. He did not have a nice stone and has not with stood the ravages of time. Linda

I guess he liked his name spelled Franz which is what he was born into. Thank you for all your hard work and time spent on this project. Linda

Lou Nicklas
Guess what? I believe that Lou Nicklas is not buried with her husband. When he died, they had the headstone engraved with her name also but there is no death date. But as the years rolled along, she ended up in California and died there and is buried in Eternal Valley Memorial Park, Newhall, CA. I found her on Find A Grave and have requested a photo of her CA headstone and got it almost within 15 minutes and now I have two links for Lou with her husband. I will leave both attached to him so folks in the future will see what happened. But the Lou's with Henry are the same wife. I would not take off the photo for Lou in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Just leave well enough alone so folks can see their story. Linda

George Eckert photo
Thank you sooooooo much for taking a photo of my gt, gt-grandfather's family monument at Walnut Hill and putting it on Findagrave!!

Recently a cousin in this family who descends from George's only brother who stayed in Germany found George on Findagrave. He has shared with me our common ancestors back to the late 1500's. I'll email him today to let him know how kind you were to photo the Eckert monument and put it on Findagrave for me.

I must contact Walnut Hill to arrange for the top to be reattached.
Best regards!
Sheila Robbins

Dear Theresa,

Thank you so much for the pictures you took and posted of my grandparents' graves. I live in Colorado and have not been back to the gravesite since the day my grandma was buried, July 9, 1976 when I was 15. Looking at it here is like visting once again.

Sincerely,
Debbie Ayala

Lou Nicklas
Thank you so much for all your hard work. I hope all the rest of your work goes easier than these old Henry's. Never name a kid the same name as every other person in the family.

One other thing, I believe you have the wrong headstone for Henry, #107936242. Henry, who was married to Lou, should have the headstone that has Lou attached to it. Linda

RE: Henry Nicklas
I entered Lou A. Nicklas. She may have been a second wife. His first wife is with her parents and she died in 1930. Thanks for all your hard work. Linda
