RE: The Allens
I was researching Brushwood and allied families. I'm not familiar with your other families, but you can do a cemetery lookup of Old Union and see if any of them are recorded there. I visited Old Union Cem. recently, and need to go back soon. I'll look for your other two families. Many of the stones are so old they're unreadable, and many have fallen over. However, I'll let you know if I find anything.

This is my grandfather and grandmother. I would like to put some links to parents and children if that is ok.

No problem, just trying to get down to one memorial per grave...... There were about 100 extra in this cemetery....

First, Thank you for taking the photos. It helps so many finding family that has been lost over time.

The question i have. The original photo for James Tanner in Barrow county died 1900 do you have a raw image. or can you go back and d a lite pencil image on the bottom half of the image. the top half appears to be James R Tanner died 1900 82 yrs old. but i really want to know the bottom half. if not i understand and please keep up the good work

RE: Joe Travis Sears
I think Maxwell must be another name for the cemetery he is in. Sometimes there are "local" names for cemeteries. I will ask around and see what I can fid out. Will let you know

Hi Miss Lisa, thanks again for your efforts and dedication again! I hope your doing good and enjoying the fall weather this week. Nice to hear from you. I do understand many graves no longer or never had permanent markers. Sincerely,Tania :)

RE: Joe Travis Sears
Where is the Maxwell Cemetery at? I could not find a listing for it, so I just assumed it was a local name for the one he is in. I do think he is in the correct one. If I am out that way I'll stop and look.

Thanks for removing your memorial. I did a search for my Mom before creating my own memorial and it didn't show me yours otherwise I would've done like you said and just requested management. Thanks again.

RE: Carlotta Putnam & Eda G. McKellar
There were 3 of us who teamed up and photographed all of City View back in 2010, so most of it is done. It is an active cemetery so there are probably lots of new ones since then. The newer interments seemed to be on the west end down the hill and in the middle. So if you wanted to fill in some, you could look for any DOD 2010 or later.

As far as Eda McKellar, I couldn't read the marker well (still can't), so I entered her with a different first name. Hopefully you could read yours better because I changed the first name to what you thought, Eda.

Thanks for the closeup photo of this veterans grave. Now the memorial is complete for the family when they start searching.
May God richly bless you for all you do to make this a great place for all of us to volunteer.
