|Anne Critcher Clark ||RE: Betty (Landon) Carter|
Hi Lindsay! Betty Carter was my 8th great-grandmother and the picture I posted is from a published family history book, so please feel free to copy the picture!
I don't know how much information you want?
Betty LANDON Carter was born in 1683 in a place called Credenhill (Hertfordshire) England. She is the daughter of Thomas LANDON, born 1648 at Credenhill (Hertfordshire) England and Mary St. LEGAR (estimated birth about 1645 from the records I have seen so far, but not "solid" enough evidence for me to count on).
She married Richard WILLIS at Grendall (Hertfordshire) England in 1701. I don't know of any children were born during her marriage to Richard WILLIS but that doesn't mean there aren't any. I just did not record them in my records. Her marriage to Robert CARTER of "Corotoman" (Lancaster) Virginia, produced ten children that I know of (several who died in infancy).
I have more information and the sources, as well as family information that was left to me. Please let me know what you want, I can probably send you a file and provide you a list of the sources you can look at.
Hope that helps "cousin"! Best regards, Anne

I am interested in a picture of his headstone. I created a memorial for him and linked him to his wife, Martha. His memorial number is

Thank you for try to locate Baby Underwood. I was wondering if the plot that is on the memorial page is a legitimate location in that Cemetery? and that it might be a parents plot?

Lindsay I would love to have the photo of the inscription if you would like to send it. It is so nice to look for "familY" and see the photos as so many times it corrects information that we have that is incorrect.
Thanks again, Kathy

|Lisa Leiding||Zula McColley Brant|
Under the photo you mentioned that the cemetery records stated Benjamin was buried next to her!!! Oh my...I have been searching and searching for him for over 4 years.
Any chance those cemetery records tell of a year or date of death on Benjamin? Any chance his stuff is carved into the back of Zula's stone?
Rumor has it he died as a result of train crash - wondering if it was in 1910 and part of the Washington Wellington crash.
Thanks Lindsay for your help!!!
