Im sorry for your loss shirley. Charlotte and her husband Harvey moses odell were both in the 1880 census in trenton mo. I'm not sure of there death dates or where they are buried. Most of the cemeteries in Grundy Co are online and I have not been able to locate either grave site.

Shirley, David and Sarah's daughter Charlotte married to Harvey odell are my 4th great grandpatents. I have not heard the story about Davis and Sarah being murdered until yesterday right before I messaged you. Have you located Charlottes grave site? And no one has any physical evidence of David and Sarah being murdered not newpapers, police reports nothing? Thanks

June Ford
cooper- wood cemetery
I would like to add a name to a Cooper Cemetery, but am unsure which one it should be! I'm guessing it is Cooper-Wood because of the Hess connection. Abigail E. "Abbie" (Hall) Hedrick died 25 May 1923 in Osage Twp, Morgan Co & according to the death certificate she was buried in Cooper Cemetery. Her son Thomas, aka Isaac Thomas, of Rocky Mount, gave the info; when HE died in Miller County, the informant was Phillip Hess of Eldon. I'm not figuring all this out but they are obviously part of our family.

wilson family
I checked your records & found a very interesting bio on John Wilson, son of John & Sarah Wilson. I'm sure that this is the same Sarah that later married William Perry Hedrick; when Perry died, John Wilson was informant for death certificate. I'm trying to sort out the Morgan & Miller County Wilsons & Hedricks, who are connected to my husband's Ford family. Could we compare notes?

PJ Canfield
Wilson /Chrisman family
Hello, I am just found your labor intensive information on Find a Grave. I thank you so much for sharing with us..My husband's mother (Ismael) nee, was from the Thomas J Wilson, Mary Chrisman family lines. It's wonderful to be able to know where everyone was buried. My Mother in law is around 85 and is still wondering about her ancestors. She was told that she is part Native American. Do you know anything about that for the Wilson's or Chrisman's?
Thanks again.. PJ Canfield

RE: William Chatfield Sickler's Picture
Hi Shirley,

William Chatfield Sickler was my husband's mother's Great Grandfather, and Amon's brother George was her Grandfather. That's wonderful new to me, I am glad to find that we also share another family connection through your Great Grandmother's, Louisa Province Sickler for my husband and I am assuming that her sister, Celia Jane Province Sickler, is yours. Is her name Celia or Cecila? I have seen it both ways on other family trees.

The picture you have is absolutely fantastic! We never thought we would see one of him. Thank you so much for sending us a copy when you get it back. My husband and I both thank you very much.

Have you ever seen any pictures of William's wife, Matilda Robinette? or of George Sickler and his wife Louisa Province Sickler? I have looked for many years but have never found any yet.

It is always a pleasure to come across your Memorials here on Find a Grave, you do such a wonderful job with them.

I hope your evening is a wonderful one,

I was hoping you could tell me where you found it so I could get a copy of it also and quote the source for my family tree.

I hope your holidays have been happy and this coming New Year brings wonderful things for you and yours,

Are you interested in the grave location of Block 6, part C, row 6, grave 2?

Albert is grave 2 and Sarah is grave 1.

Consider the memorial deleted.

I would like to comply with your request, but I am curious as to why these people are not listed under Union Missionary Baptist Church cemetery. I have done the research, this is the official name of the cemetery, it's in Morgan county (I live here and have walked this county line). The reason I did this was because I did not find them listed where they were actually at. I know there are two Union Cemeteries, to which there should only be one.

RE: The Pictures you posted For Nathan & Sarah Spriggs
That's great Does make the story sound possible.I was also told that Davids middle name was Vano? not william?Or he could have had 2 middle names?I did have a memorial for them, took it off as thier was some disputes abt where they died and the name I didnt include the Vano. which im not saying it wasnt all the family trees list him as david william but have no proof.on Find A Grave for his son david william it does say vano.let me know what you find please.
