|Sharon||RE: Teddy Roscoe Brady|
Brad, Thank you for updating Teddy Brady's memorial. I have a subscription to Genealogy Bank and it is a great side. In the last year or so they have added lots of Greensboro newspapers. Thanks again for your help. Sharon

Brad - Plot Section added. Thanks. The photographs were provided me by their daughter who contacted me after seeing the memorials. She did not care to maintain and sent me the pics to add. I gave her photo credit.

Thank you Brad. I appreciate the picture. This is my great uncle. About the message you sent about John Calvin Wyrick. That IS a strange group. His grandson was my friend's uncle. She asked me to find out about him and it took a while to untangle his family. His sons are buried in Mt. Airy.

Thanks for the photos you submitted today. I really appreciate your taking the time to fill my photo requests!
I also apprecite your comments in your bio, I use most of the photos I request on my family tree on ancestry. I aways give the photographer credit so I always felt like it was not infringing on anyone's rights. I'm glad to know that this is truly the case!

There are 12 horizontal grave stones in our family plot in section 2.(direct line relatives) We had to pull back the grass to find and take pictures of all 12 of them. Every time we visit NC from CA we have to find some again. I have their pictures in my family tree on ancestry.com.

Sorry--I didn't see your email about where he was buried until after I saw the one about the picture you found.
I moved him to Rehobeth--but this time, I don't want to delete my entry because of the newspaper article and the picture. (At the same time---I don't like to come off as a bully, so I don't like to complain to the other person.) But I'm sure somebody else will eventually.

Thanks much for the info. You may come across several that I have created but have not yet gotten back to for bio purposes. I took pics of two current requests but sun was to the back. Will try again tomorrow when it's cloudy.

The little flag & rock were already there from a recent visitor. I too felt it appropriate that they remain.

|SleepingDog||RE: Temporary Cemeteries|
If they died for our country---I think the government should have a responsibility to get them back here. Some families might have been too poor to pay for something like that.
But I think I'd just as soon see someone buried over there than kept on hold for several years--as long as I knew exactly where they were.
The whole thing is really sad. So many of those guys were just kids.

Some other online sites that I've used for research are:
As I had said, many, many Guilford County participants..., that is why I began limiting myself to those KIA in WWII.

I went ahead and deleted my entry for him, but before I did, I copied the newspaper article and added it to the other entry with a note under the caption that he wasn't buried until 1949.
(Where were all of those people stashed for five years???)
Added by SleepingDog on Nov 18, 2013 4:16 AM
He must not have been born in Guilford Co., because I don't see a record of his birth in the Register or Deeds. (Unless maybe Zollie is a nickname). It would be nice to give him a birthdate.
