Saphronia Kemp
Hello Melissia,
Thank you so much for the grave photo of Saphronia Kemp. The dates on the stone are the dates of birth and death I had in my records for her. I always thought her husband John Calvin Kemp (J.C.) was buried under the same stone, but maybe not? J.C. was a Civil War veteran. I grew up in Dyer and my Gray and Kemp family are from Bells Chapel and my Webb and Thompson family are from Dyer and Mason Hall. This photo is very helpful to me and I will cherish it forever. I live in Washington DC now so there is no way I could ever have gotten a photo on my own.

RE: Thanks!

You are most welcome. Just wish the headstones were in better shape so they would have photographed better. We cleaned them with a brush as much as we could. Rachel's was in better shape than John's was. They are on the same headstone and he faces West and she North. Guess the moss, etc is worse ont he West side!

Joseph Kittrell photo request
Hi, the volunteers are happy to fill your photo request, however we need a burial location in order to do so. The cemetery is very huge and is not very cooperative with the volunteers from findagrave.
Can you call them and get the burial location? The number is 972 238 7111. Once you get the burial location you can message me and I can make sure it gets added and that the photo request is filled ASAP.

RE: Thank you!
Your quite welcome Melissa. Some how when I prepared my notes for the cemetery I wrote down James Deering, but ended up photographing Jewel Deering thinking that was James Deering. Don't ask me how I managed to do that as I'm still trying to figure it out myself..LOL! Anyway I will claim the photo request for James and get a pic of his headstone for you. The cemetery is only a couple of miles from my where I live, so it will be no problem to go back over there.
