They were married Aug. 4, 1927 but I don't know where. Not any relationship to me. I just posted photos for them on the findagrave website though if that will help as well.

Hi, I saw your message on Ruby L Bonds' memorial page. My husband is the great grandson of Ruby's sister Mattie. I believe you were asking for a picture of her gravesite, We visited her this summer so I have some photos. I also have a photo of some of the siblings together. If you would like to talk, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Mattie King - I didn't take a picture, i can when i go back. It was a double headstone, but can't remember the other name, sorry. There are several King headstones in this section. I'll get them & send you pictures. Are they related to the Dr. King that was here in Greenville?

Plot Section C Lot 191. Searched today & found his sister. I had a search for another headstone in section C Lot 174 - My husband searched around the 174 thinking James should be close. We didn't have any luck. I am not giving up - i'll go back. The heat got me today.

It has been my experience in doing my own family research (going on 20 years now) that it is extremely difficult to get information on someone that was born after 1900. It's easier to obtain information on their ancestors. You might try going back farther to start....like Theodore's great grandfather, grandfather or father and find more information. The best "free" websites I have found are Rootsweb.com and FamilySearch.org. The best "paid " site is ancestry.com.

Hi and welcome to Findagrave..........
I read your sister's obituary and just left her a flower. She looked like such a sweet and fun lady. I know you must miss her terribly. If you want to manage her memorial, just click on the lady's name who entered her (Joy R) and I feel sure she will honor your request. Just tell her who you are (sister) and ask her if she would transfer your sister's memorial to you. If I have entered any of your family or friends, let me know and I will make the transfer to you.
I am so very sorry for your loss.
Love and prayers,
