You're welcome:) I did try to turn his veterans stone right side up but for some reason it keeps flipping. It stays upright in my gallery. I will try to go photogragh it again to see if that will work. I don't live far from the cemetery:)

Cora L. McCall McDowell
You asked if I was related to Cora; ; the answer is only slightly- she was the sister in law of my 2nd cousin 2x removed (Rebecca Stepp). I research the whole family of my relatives, you never know until you look if one of them (or their children) has intermarried with another family in my tree. I try to make my information available so that everyone benefits from the hours and hours of my research.

The edits tab on the member page is a new thing and while it leaves the control with the member who created the memorial, it also gives great information for followup and allows for more and easier input from other members. Thank you for your kind response.

I would love is unlikely at the moment - been 8 weeks now...broke my ankle and wrist - leg cast comes off this Thursday but I think it might still be a while before I can get out to that cemetery. BUT rest assured if the pic request is still open when I can - I WILL get it for you. LOL.

I see your request again, but I have not been out that way again for quite a while but I will go get a pic when there is no snow and I am going by that way. I know where the spot is as I photo'ed it previously. -Mary

Peter Larkin @ Grafton St Hosp
I am the photo volunteer that wrote to you regarding your photo request for Peter Larkin's marker at Grafton State Hospital Cem. in Grafton, MA. I will be moving out of state next week and before leaving I wanted to check to see if the marker you purchased had been set yet. Unfortunately, it has not. I thought you might like to know since it has been quite some time since you purchased it. -Judi

RE: Peter Larkin
When you get confirmation the new marker has been placed please enter another photo request and (if I haven't moved by then) I will certainly snap a photo for you. It will be very nice to have a "real" marker placed there. -Judi

Peter Larkin photo request
I just submitted a photo for Peter Larkin. The marker was mostly buried except for a corner. (The marker seems to be concrete so I hesitated to do anything other than gently remove the grass and blow the dirt off.) I looked all around the site for another marker that you noted you had requested be placed that included his name and b/d dates but I did not find one. A groundskeeper happened to be there at the time so I asked if any new markers had been set but he was unaware of any. -Judi

Thank you so much for the fine photo of my uncle's headstone. The services were in another state so I have never seen the actual marker. Your quality photo and quick response are appreciated by all of my family!

Thomas Roll
Last Saturday I was at Chattanooga Nat'l Cemetery to put flowers on my husband's grave and to photo some markers for Find-A-Grave requests. I was in section F and noticed Thomas Roll's marker at F-1772. I remembered that you were having trouble finding the site. I photo'd this marker, and, since you had claimed it, if you will send me your email address I will forward the pics to you to post/forward on Find A Grave. I don't like to jump anyone's claim. As one volunteer to another, I appreciate everyone's effort. LMK
