Message about Aunt Dottie's birthplace
I refreshed my memory that on our drive with her to West Cornwall, where she pointed out the window of the room where she was born, we saw our grandmother's grave in Lee before continuing to Stockbridge.

Eugenia Kate Fenner Tarver
Find A Grave Memorial# 30302261

The reason your edit was declined was because the burial place of her parents appears as Burial Unknown. Once you have located the burial place of her parents you may resubmit your edit.

Contributors are not required to link to Burial Unknowns as the purpose of FindAGrave according to the FAQs is:

Memorial contributions to Find A Grave should fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition

Your memorials do not have a final disposition.

Here is the FAQ regarding when you are not certain where someone is buried. Please note that there is a time limit of 30 days to discover the disposition of the remains. Your memorial pages for the parents are over a year old.

How do I add a memorial when I'm not sure what cemetery they are buried?
This is similar to adding a memorial for cremation. Do not create a new cemetery which does not exist in order to add these memorials. Location of body unknown should be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition should be determined and updated within 30 days.

You are quite welcome. They are very near the street. It was one of the easiest I have had to find.

AT LAST! Thanks, Bro; that makes our ancestral chain pretty nearly complete, with the photos from your visit to Laurel Hill with Walton and Stacey.

RE: Tarver-McKnight Families
I had someone contact me about the McKnights - may I have them contact you. They might have more of an idea as to how the families are related.

As they say, "you done good" definitely earned a gold star...maybe even two.
I am glad that you are enjoying being a F.A.G. member. You really are a "newbie", just 8 months against my very long association of 3 years, LOL!
I've seen a number of people who must have joined at the onset.
The way I see it, the other contributors can help to gather all my relatives "under my wing" and when I think about is not just for me, it is also for my grandchildren and their grandchildren to follow.
Have you joined and have you purchased Family Tree Maker???
I would be honored if you added me as your first friend...I will be adding you to my list.
Happy hunting,

Hello Hank,
My goodness did you ever open up a can of worms with the suggestion that one of my memorials was a duplication...I was so very sure that I had not duplicated any...what happened was that I listed Eastbury Cemetery rather than OLD Eastbury Cemetery. As you can see, it has taken me several days to get back to you and that is because it has taken me that long to straighten out my mess. In contacting other contributors and asking if they would transfer their memorials to sent up a red flag about the incorrect cemetery listing and now everyone who has an erroneous listing is being asked to delete it so that in turn they can delete the cemetery all together.
So, you did a really good thing...can you imagine if that error was not caught for several years and was added to over and over again...what a huge nightmare.
So I thank you very much.
