I live in Tennessee but my son is at Mississippi State... I'll be back there on Sunday to take him home and if it is still light out, I will go by and do the inscription. the cemetery is in very poor condition, and I wish I could restore it.. like so many out there!

You are very welcome. Turn out, the cemetery was only a few miles from home and I had been by it many times. Luck to you. Robert

I was able to find this cemetery about five years ago near the Bigbee community. It is in a remote section of a farm and is in extremely poor condition. Several markers, including the DAR marker for Joel were scattered through the woods. Unlikely that you will ever get photos of this cemetery.

I notice that you have sponsored the Charles Barnett page. Would you like for me to transfer the page to you? I have no connection at all with the Barnett family.

Hello, I am looking for info on Charles and Margaret Montgomery also. They are my 7th great grandparents. I see you have a picture of their graves. Can you tell me what the stones say? Thanks you. Karen Walden

|GMG||William M "Blazer Billy" Bell|
Thank you for sponsoring the grave memorial for William M. "Blazer Billy" Bell. He was a 1st cousin of my 2nd great-grandmother, Elizabeth Bell McKell; both originally came from the Fairfield District of South Carolina and emigrated to the Starkville area around 1838. Many of their relations are buried here at A.R.P. Cemetery and were charter members of The Starkville Associate Reformed Presbyterian (A.R.P.) Church that once stood beside this cemetery. - George Muse Gaston

I'm sorry but I really have no idea about that. It must have been some friend or relative who provided that information, I can only imagine. We could call the church and ask them possibly.
