RE: Doonans
That would be great! I will take pics of all the graves and if you would like to transcribe them it would be a big help.

RE: Doonans
Hi Barb, I actually did find one grave for Doonan but not the ones you wanted I will post it soon as I will have another large batch spreadsheet to upload by next week for summer street. The summer street cemetery has the records (which were by no means complete) for all but the catholic cemeteries in Lancaster NH and I can help there as I have permission to go into their files any time I find the door open, Which is almost every day. As far as the Catholic Cemetery I will see if I can have access to the files...A lot are in my local library in Groveton, NH which will allow the records to be photographed but not checked out. The Lancaster NH Library also has comprehensive records. Per the caretaker in Summer St Cemetery all the burial records are considered public record here so I may be able to get specific info from the town hall where the death occurred if I have the details so feel free to send me info via e-mail if you have it.

Also feel free to use any of my submissions including Photos for your research. I love going through the old cemeteries and local history and consider what I post as "public domain".

If you come across any Annis or Bresse listings in Quebec I would love to know as I am researching my family and some of the Annis family may actually be in Quebec as that is where Alba Annis wife Almeda Bresse was from

Yes, if you could transfer him, that would be great. Thanks so much!

George Scheid
FYI- George and his wife were not in Union cemetery in West Bend but in Union cemetery in Campbellsport with the rest of the family. The uploaded obit was the key to finding the correct cemetery. You may want to edit George and his wife's memorial correcting the cemetery of burial. Good luck.

Hi Barb,

Thanks for finding Isidore Fecteau in Thetford Mines. He lived with his parents for 40 years in St-Romuald, Levis Co, PQ, but I couldn't find anything for him in the 1891 Census or after that time. The death record as you can see, showed him as coming from St-Romuald. Thanks again.

RE: Norton in Calvary Cemetery
Had a little time today so perused Seattle Times death notices from Dec, 1983. 12/20 and 12/21 indicated a Funeral Mass for Donald being said at Holy Rosary Church (206-935-8353) on 12/22 with arrangements by West Home Chapel (206-932-9300) but no cemetery listed. Perhaps one of these can advise where burial took place. Couldn't look for Dorothy - on line Times editions available via library only run through 1984. Good luck.

RE: Hattie Stickney
Thanks, having her full name like that may help find her record at the cemetery. also, having her husband's name helps as well.

You don't need to send it to me. I will ask the cemetery guy again. And she died in 1944? Would she have been buried with family, perhaps with a different sirname?

RE: Hattie Stickney
The man at the cemetery could not find a record for a Marie Stickney buried there. Does the death certificate say Calvary Cem. in Virginia, MN? because there is also Calvary in Chisholm. Also, was she Catholic? If not, then she would not be in Calvary she would be in Greenwood.
another thought- you called her Hattie. Maybe she's listed under Hattie instead of Marie. I'll check with him again unless you want to call him. (218-741-5591)
Another point- records do get lost- especially when they just have them on index cards. Virginia's cemeteries are run by private organizations, not the city. It would be nice if they were online but that's not the case.

Luta Ramona Franz
I am reporting a problem on this photo request. There is no record of Luta being buried at Forest Lawn in Cypress or in any Forest Lawn in So. California. The 1618 lot does contain other family members but not Luta. I have verified she is not buried with her husband. I'm sorry I could not help you.

I will double check Wildwood Cemetery internments and for an obituary next week to try and find Jakob's grave. Can you send me a link to the Ancestry photo of the grave? That might help me if the grave is actually in Wildwood. Send it to

RE: Norton in Calvary Cemetery
Nope. Everything that is in the cemetery's on line listing is now in F-A-G. I only "have" one of them, George E., and if he's any relation to you yet me know and I'll be glad to transfer if you want. By the way, there are more Nortons over at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery if that's of interest to you.

You're welcome. In case they are related, while at Calvary I managed to locate about 10 other Nortons and get those photo'd as well.

You submitted an edit for a middle name of Horward.

Declined as his middle name is Howard, not Horward.

RE: Bellegarde and Couture
Dear Barb,

First, I want to thank you for all of your efforts in documenting so many burials. It is surely a herculean task, but one which will help many discover their ancestors! I want to also encourage you to keep up the great work!

Second, I do have at least two relatives in Saint Alphonse Cemetery. They are Joseph Chretien and Zoe (Chretien) Gosselin. If you could transfer those to me, that would be greatly appreciated!

Matt Chretien

Hugh McGrath Calvary Cemetery
Hi Barb, I have posted the pictures for the McGraths in Section Q in Calvary. You had a question about whether Hugh was buried with Mary. It appears from the stone that he is, even though the years are different. I did look around Section K just to check and did not find a stone for Hugh there. If you do not think this is the correct gentleman, just let me know and I will remove the picture from his memorial.
