RE: Philomene Gagnon Huard
I'm not sure yet! I'm still looking for her husband Eugene and daughter Lea Huard. Tons of my relatives that live in Canada I can't find. I'm a beginner genealogy searcher and don't know where to begin. Idon't know yet how the rest of the Huards are related. MY family name is Dostie-Desjardins-LaBelle. THANK YOU! I'll keep in touch. kj

Jean Montminy
Hi Barb,
You posted my great grandfather's gravesite at St. Gilles de Lotbiniére, P.Q. #14534128.
He was born 10 Nov 1826 St. Gilles, baptized in the parish of St. Nicolas Parish, Quebec, Canada. Jean died 20 May 1826 at the young age of 57.
I can take this grave if you'd like or I can send you more information.
I live in the USA. I have a photo request in for his grave marker, but I am not sure if there is still a marker in the St-Gilles cemetery or not.
His wife, Marie Celine Fradet died in 1926, so I would think that she had a marker.

There is a picture of the tombstone. I am extremely familiar with this cemetery, it it arranged in Sections, numbered and by new and old. The caretaker is 87 years old, maybe he was confused. I also have a listing of who is there, and she is on the list.

Hello! Hubert Isoire dit Provençal is my 3-great-grandfather. Are you descended from him? If not, I would be happy to take managing his page off of your hands. Would love to see the headstone, if it exists.

St-Pierre de Broughton & offer of translation
Thank you so much Barb for doing this! My ancestors are from St-Pierre, St-Sylvestre, Thetford Mines, Ste-Marie, St-Elzear, St-Ephrem... and I found your post through Ancestry for Irene Fillion buried in St-Pierre. 2 years ago I visited St-Elzear and St-Marie and took a few pictures. You mentioned Irish ancestors, any from St-Malachie? I was actually planning a trip in that region next summer to photograph graves. If you are looking for assistance in this endeavor I'd love to help you out! contact me at spradal@yahoo.com thanks, Sophia Pradal.
Surnames in my maternal family are: Routhier, Fillion, Groleau, Nadeau, Quirion, Lachance and the following who married into the family: Healy, O'Farrell etc...recognize a few good Irish names there LOL ? Also, my mother tongue is French, if I can be of service to anyone looking for a free translation of a grave or records, just email me at spradal@yahoo.com It will be my pleasure! Sophia

Sr Willmes
Hi,

I declined the name edit but corrected the name manually.

I noticed the link I had accepted to add a parent (think it was the mother), is now missing. Do you know what happened? Curious!

RE: Morans
Thank you,

You have given me plenty to work with. Someday you can transfer all the McCourt's. That can wait.

I think the group you joined and the one I joined have similar databases.

Looking forward to finding many of those pictures you posted. Hopefully someday ancestry com will straighten out their member connect issues and I'll get the alerts again when someone posts new information.

Thanks again,

Margaret Murtaugh Barylski

Howard Monument
Hi,
Although Ellen is buried in Lot 669 and there are a few Howards buried there, the only name on the Howard monument is Julia Howard. Three of the sides are blank. There is no stone for Ellen or her husband John.

Babies are hard. Normal if there in a plot they in the father's parents plot. Less in my family.

RE: Stickney photos
the cemetery records had Marie listed under James name and only as Hattie. That's why they were saying she wasn't there.

The death date for Margaret Odonnell is 14 Oct 1937, not 1947. Her grave location is Block 1, Section 2, Row 24, Grave 69. Found proof in Milwaukee Journal, 15Oct1937. Thanks, John

RE: Stankovich
Hello. I think I have the photos fixed/rotated. When I use my ipad the photos look correct, but when I go to my laptop they were rotated wrong. Not sure what is doing that, but I just fixed them. Only 2 memorials I think Gail's and Michael's. let me know if I did others last week.

Catholic Cemetery site
Hi Barb,

I've looked up a couple of locations for you but I thought I'd post the link for you. http://www.cemeteries.org/Genealogy-Search.htm

The website was recently revamped to a new format, but all you have to do is enter a name you want to look up. You can even look for surrounding burials which can be helpful in locating family members.

If you look up the ones you have photo requests for and add the plot info to the memorial page, it will show on the request to help out the photo volunteers. You don't have to delete and reenter a request, just post in the plot field.
