Robert, apparently her husband, was next to her, so I added a photo for him as well.

Enjoyed the memorial that you made for him. I am distantly related to his wife, Ellen Louisa Brown Bailey and I have just found that she was with him in the Jan 1920 Census in Santa Cruz and just found her death record and has that she died 14 May 1920 in Santa Cruz. So it makes me think that she was not divorced but died and he remarried. Could you now add that to your memorial. I am trying to locate where she was buried.

RE: Reminder for George Carmean
Hi! Thank you for providing the location. I will go take a picture sometime early next year (when there is no longer snow on the ground and the weather is better). Merry Christmas to you! Ace

Reminder for George Carmean
Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker?

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

This cemetery will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave's location and the Find A Grave FAQs (Help File) states it is the photo requestors job to provide this information.

Thank you! Ace

RE: George Carmean
Hi! You have a photo request at Forest Home Cemetery in River Grove, Illinois

I am trying to clean up the backlog of photo requests at this cemetery. If you accidently created the photo request and/or do not require it, can you please remove it?

If you would still like the photo request fulfilled, I hope you will contact the cemetery and obtain the Section and Lot numbers so that I can provide you a photo.

Thank you! Ace

George Carmean
Hi! Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there. I go here regularly, and since August I have found over 150 graves at Forest Home that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace

RE: Sarah Rebecca Livengood Davis
I just wanted you to add the burial location of "Old Section Block 4" so others could find the marker. Since I originally contacted you it has been taken care of.

Carmean Ancestor
My great-great grandfather was Noah Carmean. I have not been able to prove positively where his father was born, but several items I have come across say he was born in Holland. I have Lester Luce and family in Idaho in the 1900 census and after that California. I haven't been working on my Carmeans in a while but it was nice to hear from another Carmean relative.

RE: Birthdate of Martha E. Carmean West
Thanks for letting me know about the correction. However, I cannot take credit for the photo as it was added first by Rhonda Smith to Martha's memorial. I gave her credit on the other memorials, also. My grandfather's line was Carmean, so I've done a lot of searching. Still in the process of looking as some have been very elusive. Anyhow, I made the correction for Martha, and again thanks for letting me know.

RE: Sarah Hamilton Davis
Hi Dian,

I'm glad to have shared the Sarah Davis photo. I was visiting the cemetery, because Sarah is my 4th great grandmother. If she is also your ancestor, then we be cousins!

If you would contact me at, I can send you additional photos from my visit to Elmwood. Which of Sarah's children do you descend from? My gr-gr-gr-grandfather was Hamilton Cunningham Davis.

RE: Leonard G. Phillips / Find A Grave Memorial #51796941
Good evening DianNelson. I linked the memorial for Mr. Phillips to his wife's. And yes please, if you have a photo of Mr. Phillips' gravestone, I would be glad to have it for his memorial. That is very thoughtful of you, and I appreciate it.

They built a hospital over it, which is now a nursing home. Google western methodisy graveyard, chillicothe, Ohio and it will give you names and the story of it.

Joseph Davis in Lafayette County, Missouri
There is no grave marker for Joseph Davis. His purported gravesite is according to Davis Family lore. If Joseph Davis did, in fact, accompany his family from North Carolina to Missouri, his premature death in 1837 would have occurred prior to the establishment of organized cemeteries in the area of Freedom, Missouri.

thanks for your time. Very probably, if they had a marker it may have been marble, which wears away after about 40 years.
