|JOSEPH BUDNACK||RE: Joseph Beiter|
My maternal grandfather was Joseph James Beiter who married Margaret Winn and had 4 children. George Vincent Beiter. Joseph James Beiter (who died shortly after birth). Joseph John Beiter and Margaret Mary Beiter (my mother). The three surviving children were taken from their parents in 1932 and placed in foster care. George was 13. Joseph was 9 and Margaret (my mother) was 4 years old. They were not adopted out but never lived with their parents again. The parents divorced and had very few visits with/from the children. My Grandfather had 3 sisters Mary, Matilda and Anna. My mother married Stanley Budnack in 1947. She is 86 years old. My uncle Joseph died in Syracuse in 1982. My uncle George died in Palmyra in 1997.

There is plenty of cognitive stimulation in seeing how interconnected all these families are!

No problem transferring to you...I'm not related, only the cemetery is a few blocks from my house so I photograph when I'm out and about. Best of luck in your research!

I did not list Cora as her own sibling - that is a relatively new findagrave feature that lists all of the recorded siblings - including the individual of that specific memorial. That individual is listed in a slightly different font.

I want to thank you for the wonderful information on this site. My great-great grandfather is John George Schwalb. My great grandfather is John (Johann) G. Schwalb who is buried at Mount Calvary. Another mystery solved. Very exciting! -Leah Roberts

|Kristen (Tozer) Kellick||Frank and Emrick Horvatis at Mt. Calvary|
Do you have any information on the parents of Emrick Horvatis (115053944) or Frank Horvatis (115053977)? I have an Emmerich, or Imre, Horvatics in my tree, born in Stinatz, Austria, likely in the 1840s or 1850s. Imre's son Egidius is my great-grandfather, and named one of his sons Frank. I'm wondering if there's a distant connection between the Horvatis headstone you photographed for Emrick and Frank and their spouses, and my 2x-great-grandfather.

|kay pitts||kunigunda schmidt|
hi, i am looking for a kunigunda schmidt married to John Schmidt. buried in Holy Redeemer on Belair Rd. She died around 1915. I found a single stone with her name on it included with an infant child. Have you photographed this one? If so can you forward it?
Have you other schmidt members from the Michael Arch angel circle?

|Roy Woodruff||RE: Beiter Family|
Cathy, No I couldn't find any connection either. I have an Ancestry.com account, but am still entering information into my own family tree and have not posted that family yet. I'm sure the two families are related distantly, but I'm afraid it would take a trip to Germany to find that connection (which doesn't sound too bad)... Thanks for looking!

|Roy Woodruff||Beiter Family|
Hi Cathy, I have researched the Beiter family too, but we are descended from Ignatz and Scholastica Beiter who settled in Swormville in the 1850s. They came from Wuttenberg Germany as well. Maybe another branch. There is a book written on our family (we are #10). If you have found any connection, please let me know. Thanks!

|CHerr||two more Franks for you|
Am in the process of adding two more members of the Frank family I found while looking for another name. They are easy to miss since they lay flat. They also have no dates. They are Michael and Magdalena Frank.
