RE: Minnie Gilbourne
I wasn't looking for anything in particular, Louis. I know a great deal about her already: Born in England; married Jamaica-born William Daniel Gilbourne in Wales; emigrated to Australia then from there to California with her daughter. I have her family tree on my web site:

Minnie Gilbourne
Louis, Thank you so much for the picture of Minnie Gilbourne's marker - not the most informative, but thank you for taking the trouble nevertheless.

I called as you suggested and I got the information. My uncle, Wallace Donald Tingley is buried in the outdoor masoleum-Garden of Memory. Unit #1, Tier #1, and Crypt #10. He was born in 1918 and died in 1960. The lady that I talked to said it was inside the front gate in the building that spells out Olivet on it. I would appreciate a picture of his marker when you get time to go there. Thank you for doing this for me and also the information to get this far along in my search.

Thanks for the great long shot of the family site.

Wonder if you could get a closeup like on his spouse's, Hazel, memorial for his too?
It probably says Father on it They appear to be side by side from comparing the 2 photos.

Louis-I noticed that you would like the location of the grave for you to get pictures. You had a man's name and phone number and e-mail for him. I tried to call him-no answer and left a message and e-mailed him with no reply from him. Is there any other person that I can call or e-mail to get this information?? All I think I know is that my uncle is in a masoleum at that cemetery. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I wish I could find a better one, but I posted the one from the newspaper.

She was crossing the street, and got hit by a car, probably a drunk driver. Another driver pursued him, so he did get caught by the cops. But she was thrown many feet, literally out of her shoes as her shoes were found 25 feet away. She was a former beauty queen, and engaged to be married at the time of her passing.

Thank you for the photo you recently added...strange, but it looks like there was one out there, but it did not show up the night I searched.... sorry!!! Never had that happen before! I certainly appreciate you going out to get it!

Thank you for the gravestone photo of Dorothy Jorgensen. She died such a tragic death; I'm glad she has a stone.

Thanks for going the extra mile on this. It turns out this was not the person I was looking for, but I wouldn't have known without your help.

RE: Alice Marx Hauser

I did phone Cypress Lawn for the description of Alice Hauser's grave location, but Find A Grave wouldn't let me enter it because there was a location already pending.

Cypress told me this: Garden Maple East #694.
Hope this is helpful!

RE: Bernhard Carlson
I am sorry, what I meant to say is that your pic and cred is in the book. The other pics you see on the homepage are pics that never made it into the book. The book can be ordered in the US from

Best wishes
