J. Phillip Murphy
Also, have you come across this man? Not an old death, It was 1970-72, but I cannot find anything to pin down exact date. He was head of Murphy Pacific (Judson Steel). I know he's there.

What do you have on undertakers of Oakland? If you check my virtual cemeteries here you will see that I have many of them. I'm always interested in others. I know where Albert Brown is, but disgustingly he is not marked.

RE: Rev. James Abercrombie
Hi Alfred,

What a wonderful offer, but I don't own the other memorial or have any relationship to the Reverend. The owner may be willing to transfer the memorial to you, seems like you have far more than a passing interest in the subject matter. I hope he gets into your hands as I know you will do him justice.

Thanks you again for all your hard work and sorry your memorial was a duplicate.

Austin L. Hill
Hi Alfred -

Could I use the picture you took of the headstone for Austin Hill & his wife, Florence?
Find A Grave Memorial# 70844076

In all honesty, I want it for my public Tree on Ancestry (where I will give you full credit including your Find A Grave name & number).

Thanks for your consideration.

Mary Wallace
Janksi Family from Little Falls
Hi, I believe my Grandfather (Lawrence Janski) is your father's brother. I'm Valeria Janski's adopted daughter Marilee Williams Wallace. I'm fascinated with my Janski family history and have done a little research here and there. I just adored my grandmother, Mary Janski, and still dream of her. I have some of the photos on Lawrence's page, but there were a couple I've never seen before. It's been difficult getting photos from my cousins because they don't have the technology available...I'm determined to make a concerted effort to get more photos. I grew up with a close relationship with all of my grandparent's descendants and would be happy to provide additional photos. Thanks, Mary

To transfer him or delete him, you'll probably have to go through Find A Grave itself.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

The information I have is what was already on Find a Grave, Maureen turned it over to me because she wasn't going to be on Find a Grave anymore. Sorry I don't have anymore info. And I tried to turn it over to you, but since it has Maureen's name on it I can't forward it to anyone else.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

OK, I sent you the marriage pre-nuptial. Could you send me the articles you have on her sons deaths?

Lady Mary Leilah
Mary actually had a very good pre-nuptial with Walter. And when she died, her estate was worth $80,000. I don't think she was the least bit crazy, I believe she had a number of people who were after her wealth, and wanted her to appear crazy so as to get control of her monies. She was not "broke" as reported in court case, after court case.
Her actual background, aside from the media (newspaper) reports, proves them wrong.....

RE: Ralph Kirkham Blair
Ralph's brother Arthur Kirkham died before 1904 in Calif. He attended San Francisco Physicians and Surgeons School. Eloped and married Edith Ursula Fitzgerald on 3 November, 1900 in Stockton.
Edith's grandfather was an officer who served with Gen Ralph Wilson Kirkham, Major Edward Howard Fitzgerald.
Lady Mary Lealah was not at all happy with the union!!
Do you have an Obit for Arthur?? Or even Ralph??

RE: Ralph Kirkham Blair
Looks like Ralph Kirkham Blair was in England in 1926, returned to the US thru England. Last Address was Johnstown, South Africa. Born in US of British Citizen. Engineer. Reference was Lord Churston, Churston Court, Churston, Fenress. Engineer.
His death record says he was born 22 Nov, 1877 to David B Blair and Leilah Kirkham Blair, in San Francisco.
Birth record says he was born 22 Nov, 1877 to David Boyle Blair and Mary L Kirkham, in Oakland, Alameda, Ca.
Draft record from 12 Sept, 1918 says he is of Great Britian ancestry. Living in Springfield, Mass, born 22, Nov, 1877. Is a engineer.
I have not found Ralph's younger brother, as your article says Lady Mary returned from Africa with 2 young sons. And the 1880 census just had David, Leilah K and Ralph, age 3.
Looks like I have the right guy....

RE: Ralph Kirkham Blair
Hi, Al, here is the death record I worked from

In Fort Meigs Cemetery, Ralph K. Blair is buried in a single grave plot with Carters and Blakers on either side. The burial date is all that is given: 10 December 1938. The death record says Perrysville which is in Ashland County but it and Perrysburg are often mixed up.

Let me know what is going on.

re: Ethel Plante Seale, St Mary's Oakland, CA
Have just visited my old email address, and discovered all the wonderful extra photos you sent me back in June for the location of Great-Aunt Ethel's final place of rest! I can't _believe_ the additional amount of trouble you went to, to provide those images (not to mention the sending of them)!!!!! Thank you _SO_ much for your time, and for your great kindness!!

PS: If you wish to reach me in future, my new email is gravefinds(at)gmail(dot)com, or just visit Aunt Ethel's memorial again and send me a SAC through there -- it will arrive at the same e-address. :D

All the very best!

RE: Pearl Louise Biersdorff Warner
If you have also taken photos of Pearl and her daughter Deloros' burial site, I would like to see them. I like the idea of having a choice. Also, if you could describe where in the cemetery they located, I would really appreciate it. If you don't know and hadn't taken the photos yet, don't worry about it. Thank you for your efforts.
