Sibbie Evaline Hill-Booher
I happened upon your message to June Draper about Sibbie and Newton.
Sibbie was my Great Grandmother, her son Hoy Lee was my Grandfather.

I wanted to reach out and say hello to a cousin.

Feel free to email me at aliahcat@yahoo.com

My mom is Hoy Lee and Norma Fay's Second daughter.

Hope you have a wonderful evening

Their suggestion:
-------------------------
Hi! Thank you for all you have and are doing on FindaGrave!

I talked with a representative of Speck Funeral Home, and he said that Melbadine was buried in the Emberton Cemetery in Clay County, as the obituary says. Are you familiar with the cemeteries in Clay County? He said that often people mistake assume that the Emberton and the Seiber and the same cemetery. Their records show that her burial was in the Emberton.

I personally walked this Cemetery, when I posted these. There is only one Sign - Seiber. I have heard others buried there are in the Emberton, but no sign of where one begins and ends and likewise the other.

So I cannot tell who is buried in which one, when there is only one sign?
Do you have something that shows she is in the Seiber and not the Emberton?

Thanks!

David Buck
RE: Thomas and Mary Buck
Hello,

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I have visited the gravesites in Fentress County and found a nicely maintained grave markers for both Thomas and Mary Range Buck. It was located at Red Hill or Buck Cemetery, also referred to as Poor Cemetery as they are both next to each other, yet separated. The gravestones are not original, so some family member at some time has placed them there. Hopefully on the original site. The graves at Range Cemetery did not have a Marker for Mary Range Buck that I saw. If you will send me your email address to: thebuckstophere@msn.com, I will send you a very nice slide program of all the graves of my ancestors, dating back to Jonathan Buck who is my 6th Great Grandfather. He was married to Zuriah Covalt and we think her grave is on the Eastern Tennessee town of Elizabeth City. I have not made that connection and no one seems to have found her grave that I am aware of. Please send me an email and I will send you what I have. It will be photos of the graves I found in about 7 cemeteries during a trip a few years ago. I was also back again last year stopping at Cookeville where a distant cousin showed me a couple other gravesites of our Buck ancestors. Hope to talk to you soon. David Buck
