Linda, I transferred him to you to make the necessary changes. I don't believe I worked on him..I think this was information sent to me by someone else and I just added it without questioning it. Did I give you my cell ph. number? If not, write me before you come back to Andy and I'll send it to you.

RE: Mary Ann Elizabeth McMillian Harrelson
We don't for sure that it is "our" Mary..but there's a good chance it is. We know that her and Elijah were in Butler County, Al. on the 1880 Butler County, Al. census and we'd heard..from Kay Bass that he'd died there.

Do give me a while to check my sources. How did you know my Helms connection. I guess my profile. Most of the Helms you mentioned we're my father's uncles and their families. It is such a small world.

J. G. and Eliza Brooke
Linda ...

Thanks for the additional information about Eliza Campbell Brooke. I have some information in my files, but have not had time to dig it out.

They were the grandparents of my uncle (by marriage to my Dad's sister), Joe C. Brooke. Feel free to copy the picture you wanted of their tombstone. I will be glad to send a larger file of the image, if you need it. I need an email addy if her want a larger file size of their tombstone sent. My email addy is on my Find A Grave page, if you want to send it directly.

I have a picture of Eliza and Annie (her daughter, not her sister) that I will be adding to their memorials soon. I have unsuccessfully (so far) tried to have the creator of Annie Brooke Ransberger's memorial link her to her parents, but he did add her maiden name.

Do you have any information on a Permelia Parker bn. 1801 who married Stephen B. Mayo and the came to Texas prior to living in Stewart Co. You posted on some gravesites in the Perry Cemetery in Stewart Co. and there is a Littleton Parker buried there. Permelia named one of her sons Littleton and I think there is a connection. I have never been able to find any information on my Permelia so just wondering if you might help.
