Hi! I've added Ronald's death certificate to his memorial. It says burial was at Mt. Tabor. Just curious... where did you get the info that there are no Webbs interred there? If from tombstone readings, he may not have had a stone since he was only 2. Or, if you're looking at records then I guess it could be true that he is not buried there. What do you suggest I do? Change the cemetery to Davis, and put a request out again. If that doesn't work, try Calfee? Just wondering. I'm sure you're more familiar with the area than me. LOL

Thanks for your help!

No, I know she isn't buried at Birchfield with my uncle and cousin. My aunt told me she was buried at one of these cemeteries by the church off Harper Rd. and my other cousin, her son, Richard was at the other cemetery. I'll check with my cousin, Ruth's grandson to verify.
Thanks!

No, I know for sure she isn't buried at Birchfield with my uncle and cousin. I know her son Richard was buried at one and Ruth was buried at the other by this church off Harper Rd. According to my aunt in Beckley, they are in separate cemeteries. She didn't die recently, I just created her memorial recently. I'll try to verify it with my cousin (Ruth's grandson) in South Carolina.
Thanks!

Hi Penny,
I understand you and Historianne have built up Calfee and Mount Tabor cemeteries in Beckley. I recently added Ruth to the Mount Tabor cemetery but I know Calfee and Davis cemeteries are close by. Can you, if you have the information, please verify if Ruth is in fact buried in Mount Tabor?
Thanks,
Bev

Thank you
I emailed you my sincere thanks for getting all the information written down concerning the Eunice Cemetery. My mother is there, but I've not seen her obituary in many years. I am glad it is there along with the photo. This was a comfort to me. My name and other info are in the email I sent you.

There is a photo request in for her from someone I have been corresponding with. Didn't know if you would see it. Since the memorial is yours I thought maybe you have the photo in your computer already??? She would appreciate it. Keep warm and safe out there today.

David Ellis Motor, is DOD Jan. 21, 1926 (on Memorial) or Jan. 19, 1926 (newspaper article)?

Glad to help. I stopped worrying and now just add whatever is on the stone. Difficult to tell if they are in the grave or not.

Hill Top Cemetery on Oak Hill, Fayette Co., WV
I have found some papers Of the Woodrum Family. It said that Richard Woodrum II died 1832 by a horse kick in the head. It has him, his wife Mary Lykins Woodrum, their daughter Malina Woodrum Johnson, her husband Adam Johnson and their son Anthony "Bunk" Johnson is buried there. Must be unmarked graves. Do you know when this cemetery started?

Someone you know? Let me know if you would like his memorial. Try to get some cemeteries every day. Only on a few that I work- not all! Made links.

Oh My gosh. I found her. I decided to google her. Found a website that had a date of death on it. When to a newspaper archive site and there it was. She died in 1967 and was buried in Highlawn Memorial Park cemetery. So was a son.

RE: Hilltop Cemetery info
Penny, I don't think I really have anyone buried at Hilltop. Like you said a few distant cousins, maybe. There are some Adkins that are probably related to me and a Gwinn. Not sure who else.
Have you seen a Compton in there anywhere. That is actually how I got started on Hilltop. I think his obit says he was buried there but I haven't seen him. Of course that cemetery is bigger than one thinks too.
I hope I don't offend you by sending you the information on these people. I have some health issues and so doing this helps me relax. I do have a tendency to get carried away though.

George Wilson Ballard
Just transferred their son to you. He has to be the Geo W buried on the other side of the Ballard family marker. Office certainly made it sound like a family unit buried there. When I found a G W Ballard death certificate I jumped to wrong conclusion. But knowing he died in Ohio explains why I didn't find WV Death Cert!

RE: hilltop
Ok Penny. Not sure I will get any further than you have but I am pretty close to it. I have to have a surgery soon so it will sideline me for a little while. If I don't get it and you want to take back over just let me know and I will back off.
Thanks.
