Claude Dinkins was my father's fishing buddy; and Betty Nash Smith was my mother's good friend at Manning High School. Then, she and I became friends through our DAR chapter. Small world in Sumter/Clarendon counties, isn't it? I love it!!!

|Cheryl York Smith||Dunlap Descendants|
Bryson: I noticed your name as a contributor to FindaGrave, and noted also that you had Dunlap in your genealogy lineage. Would you please email me direct regarding your Dunlap ancestors. I have Dunlap in my lineage and are at a stump, thought you might be able to shed some light.

|Nancy White Bardin||Tabitha Banister|
Hi, I have Tabitha listed as Tabitha Haddon. Daughter of John Haddon and Lilly Davis. Tabitha was my 3rd great grandmother if my ancestry research is correct. Maybe this helps. Nancy.

|Sharon Sisson||photo requests|
Hello Bryson, I have requests from you for photos of Anna Mellett Haynsworth and Josiah Haynsworth Sr. But, I see that there are already photos loaded, so I guess someone beat me to them. Please let me know if you need any further information from Bethel Baptist Cemetery or the surrounding area.

I've taken a photo of Moye Tillman's plot, but it only has a temporary marker. Do you still want me to post it?

|robin pellicci moore||Sumter Cemetery|
Would you mind deleting the cemetery photo on John Dozier Lee's (#80128023) memorial page? Holly Green took a photo of a poem inscribed on the side of his marker but she can't add it because there's one too many photos.

Corrected. What I missed is look likes they both died at about the same age. Should have looked closer. SM

|Jamesmun||RE: Lawrence Anthony White|
I wonder if Lawrenc's full name is Thomas Lawrence Anthony White. In 1860 census after his mother married S A Collins, I have his name as Thomas L. Collins. But this is the only reference I have which gives a name as Thomas for Lawrence.

I would like to point out a possible error. The burial grounds where Hannah is buried is in Anderson County or Abbeville County? Please check her memoriam you created :-)

At first I thought I could not find the stone for S.E.F., then I realized that "Infant dau. ..." must be the baby, S.E.F. The stone notes that she was born Aug. 5, and died Sept. 14. The memorial lists date of birth as Aug. 24, and her mother died Aug. 30. Is there an explanation other than this is S.E.F.? I enjoyed visiting this small, old cemetery. Please let me know what you think.
